(S11E05) In this episode, we learn that Hank's cousin is none other than Dusty Hill, bass player for ZZ Top. If any other show had attempted to do this kind of celebrity crossover, it would have seemed trite, but this episode wasn't so much about Dusty's celebrity status as it was about Hank wanting to keep his family as far away from the glitz and shallowness of the rock and roll lifestyle (Bobby especially).
Since the reality TV genre began, the term "reality" has been given an extra meaning. The truth is, if "reality" shows were actually "real" they'd be some of the most uninteresting shows on television: entire episodes would consist of nothing but people sitting around doing absolutely nothing, people would wonder in and out of frame, and sometimes conversations would be completely inaudible, because in reality, nobody feels the need to project for an invisible audience. (S02E09) Gahhhhh. So close. If you watched this episode, you know just what has me frustrated so. But more on that later. First, let's talk about another great episode. The Thing.
The demon virus going around turned out to be a pretty clever way to do a zombie episode, without zombies. When Sarge was peeking out the window at all of the crazed residents waiting on them I had a flash of
Night of the Living Dead. Which was the intent I suppose since Dean referenced the movie right after that.

If you watched
Chaotic, or saw that video of "K-Fed" rapping, the thought might have crossed your mind that here is a guy that needs a good body slam. Maybe two. Well, you're in luck. Federline takes the next step in his growing acting career tonight with an appearance on WWE's
Monday Night RAW, where he will go head to head with John Cena. I think we all know how that will turn out.
You have to give the guy credit, he knows how to pick a show.
RAW is a perennial top ten cable show, and that follows up deals to appear on
C.S.I. and
Entourage. Also reported to be in attendance for the
RAW show in Los Angeles are Steve-O and Chris Pontius from Jackass, Three Six Mafia, ZZ Top, Nick and Aaron Carter, and Antonio Sabato Jr.
RAW airs on USA tonight 9-11.
