You know him as Captain Jean-Luc Picard or Professor Charles Xavier, but once Queen Elizabeth II is done with him, the bald leading man extraordinaire will arise Sir
Patrick Stewart, Knight of the Realm.
Now 69 years old,
Stewart is known around the world for his lead roles in major sci-fi franchises like
Star Trek and
X-Men. But he was well-known to U.K. theatergoers for years as a 16-year member of the Royal Shakespeare Company where he specialized in playing kings and soldiers with his baritone pipes.

Apple's iPhone and iPod are emerging as the preferred delivery device for online comic books. They're portable, hand-held and feature vivid screens capable of delivering any necessary colors. You can use the touch screen to flip the pages back and forth.
An online comics website,
Comixology, is a central point for scores of online comics available via iTunes' App Store, including several titles based on popular genre shows of the recent and not-so-recent past.

Taylor Kitsch made the leap from TV to the big screen with a memorable appearance as Gambit in the hit film
X-Men Origins: Wolverine. But the
Friday Night Lights star isn't ready to forget his TV roots.
Kitsch is reportedly
open to returning to Friday Night Lights next season as Dillon bad boy Tim Riggins. Of course, viewers of NBC's low-rated but highly praised drama know that Riggins should be spending most of his time in San Antonio State next year. So how exactly would he fit into season four of

It's true. You really can't kill Wolverine.
Hugh Jackman is already hitting the gym for a sequel to the just-released
X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Nicktoons just
ordered 26 more episodes of
Wolverine and the X-Men.
The animated show was a big hit on Nicktoons, helping give the network its highest-ratings ever in key demos. The new eps will kick off May 22.
I know a lot of
X-Men fans had problems with
Wolverine and the X-Men, but I love the show. Being a Cyclops fan (yes, we do exist), it sorta bugs me that Wolverine is billed as the leader of the X-Men on the show, but that's a minor complaint. The show is fun, packed with cool, somewhat obscure Marvel mutants, and it's pretty entertaining for kids and adults.

Variety also points out that it takes about 30 months for films to go from the big screen to television in these kinds of deals.
So, if you can keep from seeing them in the theater, or on DVD, or on demand from whichever cable system you subscribe to, on Netflix or Blockbuster, or from one of the torrents these scofflaw kids are into these days, you can see it for free on FX!
