No, that doesn't say "Elmo," though I could understand the confusion because Anderson Cooper was on
Sesame Street last year. I mean
emo.
USA Weekend interviews Cooper and he talks about a lot of subjects, from the places he hasn't gone in the world that he'd like to visit (China), what's on his iPod (Marisa Monte), what he watches on TV (
Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List?!), Hurricane Katrina, that he hasn't gone to the dentist in five years (I used to be like that too), and why his dog is almost human. When asked what he does on the weekends, Cooper says he works for
60 Minutes. Seems like even his vacations involve work too.

This past issue of USA Weekend offered up an interesting article on the type of people who watch the three versions of CSI and Law & Order. Being that each version of CSI and L&O are fairly unique, different categories of people can be defined for all six shows.
For instance, the article says that fans of the original CSI, which takes place in Las Vegas, are voyeurs who have a secret dark side and are attracted to mysterious types. If you watch Law & Order: Criminal Intent you are an analyst. The article defines the fan of CI as someone who grew up reading Sherlock Holmes novels. If you watch the original Law & Order you are a traditionalist who is probably a bit ticked off about Dennis Farina's replacement on the show.
Personally, I'm an analyst all of the way, with a little bit of the SVU protector. If you want to find out a little more about yourself you can view the complete article at this link.

I was perusing my local Sunday paper when the USA Weekend
insert popped out. To my surprise I saw the smiling face of How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hanningan on the
cover. Yet, this wasn't an interview about her role on the hit CBS show, or her previous role in Buffy the Vampire
Slayer. No, this was about Alyson's search for the hottest fashion trends of spring.
What?
It turns out that Alyson loves to wear clothes from designers like Marc Jacobs and Chloe', but she's not against
shopping the racks at Target for a good deal. In the article, Hanningan shops for three outfits that Lily, her
character on the show, could wear. Later in the article, she hunts for vampires underneath the local high school.
Gosh, some habits never die (just the vampires do).
