By the time Heroes kicks off season three, babies will have been born that were conceived after the season two finale but arrived in time for the season three premiere. That's a long wait by anyone's standards. Anyone except David Chase anyway. It's not as bad as all that though. NBC has seen fit to commission the web series, Heroes: Going Postal to make that wait just a little easier to take.
The series kicks off next Monday on NBC.com, and they've started the hype machine up this week with a trailer. The new character you see in the picture is Echo DeMille. He's a mild mannered mailman, with a secret. But as the trailer tells us, sooner or later, secrets will kill. The three part series is made by the same people behind the show and new episodes will appear on the following Mondays. It's unclear what role, if any, the regular heroes will play in the web series, but there is a familiar face that pops up in the trailer. See for yourself, after the jump.

VH1 released a
superteaser for their new summer celebreality series
I Love Money last Friday. From the looks of the video,
I Love Money will be more of the trashiness and scandal we've come to expect from other VH1 shows like
Rock of Love,
Flavor of Love,
I Love New York and
Charm School. The cast will be split into two teams (gold and green) and compete for a $250,000 prize a lá the
Real World / Road Rules Gauntlet or
Inferno shows. However, since this cast is
less athletic and
more skanky than the
RW/RR folks, the actual challenges themselves look like they will be much more entertaining. And of course, you won't be tuning in just for the competitions. According to the superteaser, they'll be hook-ups, secret alliances, a spitting contest (perfect for Pumkin), and even some "true" love.
The superteaser is five minutes long! That's five minutes of skanky goodness for your enjoyment.

Those of you
Venture Bros. fans that watched the Season Three teaser I posted in my
NY Comic-Con report probably didn't catch all the jokes. After all, the footage was a recording of a recording and the massive auditorium was packed with people screaming and laughing throughout the entire thing. Heck, I was actually there in-person and I could barely tell what was going on.
Quickstop Entertainment has finally posted high-quality versions of the exclusive teaser. Now you can watch it crouched over your laptop, ears pressed to your cheap speakers, the way media is meant to be enjoyed. Regardless, it looks like we are in for quite a season. According to
Jackson Publick, Doc Hammer only had three and a half completed episodes to use for this trailer and this is definitely not a collection of the best of Season Three. If the best is truly still to come, then I'm sure the new season, starting June 1, will be nothing short of crazy spectacular.

Laura Roslin with a gun! Starbuck freaking out! Everyone's accused of being a Cylon!
The final season of
Battlestar Galactica is getting close and there's
a new promo to whet your appetite. It looks freakin' awesome and makes me confident that Ron Moore and David Eick won't disappoint us.

Last night, SciFi aired the first promo for the upcoming
Battlestar Galactica movie and today it's up
on YouTube. We all know
Battlestar Galactica: Razor is about the Pegasus and what happened to it between the time the Cylons started a war and it met up with the Galactica.
Our favorite characters (Starbuck, Admiral Adama, Apollo) are also in the movie so it appears to start as the war with the Cylons begins and then the Pegasus somehow gets separated from the rest of the group. Of course, the promo doesn't reveal much, but it was enough to
wet whet my appetite for some new BSG. I'm particularly anxious to see another side of Admiral Cain, who was pretty rotten once she appeared on BSG. Also... notice all the female soldiers on the Pegasus.
Battlestar Galactica: Razor airs on Sci Fi in November.

Or is that "Star Wars Robot Chicken?"
Well, whatever, the main site for the upcoming Robot Chicken tribute to all things Star Wars has been updated with a bunch of kick ass new production stills (including images from the upcoming special as well as older images from past Robot Chicken parodies), a brand new trailer, and a hilarious therapist session featuring the man himself, George Lucas. He even talks about that dreaded Star Wars Holiday Special. Talk about opening up old wounds.

We've been hearing about the new Clone Wars cartoon for some time now, and finally a little taste of the new series is available on the Star Wars site.
We've been told previously that this new series would focus on the clone wars that took place between episodes two and three (Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith) and those of us who are both Star Wars fanboys and animation nerds were excited to see what this new animated series would look like.

Outside of bootleg T-shirts and posters, we haven't seen much of Bart Simpsons' penis. I'm going to assume most of you are content with that, but Newsweek reports we might be seeing more of Bart than ever before in the upcoming Simpsons movie.
It's not as if cartoon wang has never been seen before: we've seen Cartman's on South Park, and another short-lived animated series on Comedy Central, Bob and Margaret, showed occasional toon frontal nudity, as well. However, the quoted Newsweek piece doesn't say anything about the audience being exposed to Bart, just that Bart exposes himself at one point (which could mean the characters in the movie catch a glimpse but we don't).

There are
two new Transformers movie trailers on YouTube. The live action movie comes out on July 4th- it's directed by Michael Bay, who does a lot of horror films but also big blockbusters like
Armageddon and
Pearl Harbor.
The trailers are short and fast and it's kind-of hard to see what's happening, but basically mechanical-looking monsters are chasing people and crushing cars. The trailers reveal that the movie is about the Autobots protecting the humans from the Decepticons, who have apparently come here to exterminate us (they're like Cylons!).
I watched both trailers (they're super short) and I had two thoughts: 1) Awesome!, and 2) This is going to be dumb. It looks cool but it also looks just slightly stupid, as fake machines are chasing people down the street and whatnot. Of course, I will still plop down my $10 to go see it in the theater because, where else would you see such a thing?
Check out both videos after the jump (the second one is best) and tell me what you think in comments.

Last October Anna mentioned that MTV had picked up another new comedy series from Nick Cannon called Nick Cannon Presents: Short Circuitz. You know the show is going to be all urban and edgy because they used a "Z" instead of an "S." That's how all the cool kidz do it, you know. Since I'm actually cooler than anyone, I've stopped using the letter S completely in my daily life:
Me: Excuze me, I want to order a zandwich, and I want plenty of muztard and mayonnaize, pleaze. And a zausage patty, but not too zpicy, becauze my tongue is zenzitive.
You can watch a trailer for the new series here, which premieres on MTV April 5 at 9:30 p.m. Apparently, they decided to make a trailer using only the unfunny bits from the show, or maybe those were the funny parts. I don't pretend to know everything about comedy, especially the painfully unfunny kind.

April 13 can't arrive fast enough. I'm so thrilled about the upcoming Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters the first thing I did after seeing the new trailer was call my mother to tell her the good news:
Adam: Mom! Did you see it?
Mom: Adam, it's 3:00 a.m.
Adam: I know, isn't it awesome? I just wonder how they're going to stretch an eleven minute TV show into a full feature.
Mom: I have to get up for work in three hours.

In case you didn't see the new movie trailer during
The Simpsons on Sunday night,
here it is on Apple. This is the longest one we've seen yet, clocking in at one whole minute! Of course, not a bit of it makes sense. It's just a series of wacky scenes without any context... but what do you expect? The script for the entire movie was kept under such tight control that 20th Century Fox isn't about to give us an idea of what the plot is. Although, if I were to guess, I'd say it's about Bart searching for a better father figure than Homer.
Release date is July 27.

If I had any doubts about whether or not the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie would be absolutely brilliant and hysterical (and I didn't), those doubts I never had in the first place were laid to rest when I saw the new trailer for the upcoming film Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters. If I laughed my kneecaps off at the trailer alone, I can only imagine how many other body parts will fall off when I actually see the movie. I predicted I'll be nothing more than a bloody, limbless mass of skin and organs they'll have to scrape from the floor of the theater with a snow shovel.
If the idea of a flaming chicken doesn't make you want to see this film, then perhaps the fact that it's coming to you from the "1st Assistant Director of the 2nd Unit of Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth" will change your mind. Watch the trailer here, The movie releases March 23.

The first part of this new teaser features the same dancing CGI bunny and flowers as the other teaser for The Simpsons movie, but keep watching, because this is in fact brand new. Click here to watch it (WMV file), courtesy of Empire. I found this one much funnier than the last teaser, and I'm still as excited as child in a peppermint robot store* to see this movie in its entirety instead of all these little tidbits they keep tossing out to fans like bread crumbs tossed before pigeons. I can't really say much about it without giving away, so if you're still reading this, stop and click on the link and enjoy. Aside from the Comic Con footage that was leaked online, this is the second time I've laughed out loud at clips from this movie. Stoked is what I am. The movie hits theaters July 27, 2007.
*Robots made of peppermint. You can play with them and then eat them. That would be awesome.

The new trailer for
The Simpsons Movie is now online-- it also aired on Fox last Sunday night during
The Simpsons. It doesn't show much, except a fluffy bunny and Homer getting stuck between a rock and a hard place. The
Wikipedia page for the movie says Erin Brockovich, Minnie Driver, and Albert Brooks all have roles. Plus, we'll see old, familiar characters such as SideShow Bob and Fat tony. The plot of the movie is being kept under wraps.
The Simpsons Movie trailer is on the
Apple Trailers website. The movie comes out July 27, 2007.
