ABC had garnered a fair amount of press over this one because of the obvious tie-in to the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie movie. The big news is that the creators of the movie are back for the TV show. Doug Liman (
The Bourne Identity, Swingers) and Simon Kinberg (
X-Men: The Last Stand) have signed on to try and transform their movie to the small screen.

After 11 years of work, the WB signs off for good on Sunday September 17th, making way for the new CW network. The frog network is going out with a bang though. To celebrate the final day of broadcasting they will be showing the pilot episodes of some of their more popular shows. You can look forward to seeing
Felicity, Angel, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and
Dawson's Creek. Along with the number one episodes, the night will be rounded out with classic images and promos from the history of the network.
Now, we could go all
Buffy crazy and start listing best five episodes, or have that Dawson/Joey/Pacey argument all over again. Maybe even bring up that whole Felicity's hair question. Rather than that, let's go the other way. Those shows were all great, and they've stayed in the public conscious, but what about those WB shows that didn't become household names? Take a trip down memory lane as I list five of the WB shows that we forgot.

In case any of you Stargate fans haven't found out about this already, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis now have episodes available for download on iTunes. Right now you can download episodes from season 10 of Stargate SG-1 (plus new episodes from the season as they become available), and season 3 of Stargate Atlantis (also with new episodes as they become available). The episodes cost the usual $1.99, and a season pass can be purchased for $37.99. Alternatively, I suppose you could still use BitTorrent, but if you like to get your Stargate fix in a more legitimate fashion, this is a decent option. Hopefully other seasons will be made available soon.
Special thanks to Mack Swift for the info.

It's been over two months since there has been a new episode of Moral Orel on Adult Swim. So far out of the ten episodes made for this season we've seen only seven, which means we have three episodes still unseen. It also means I can do basic math in my head. Good for me.
Anyway, last night I caught one of Adult Swim's always informative "bumps" which read that those "lost" episodes will air starting next Sunday. If you're a fan of the show like I am and you thought it had gone away, don't worry. Here's what's coming up:
Episode 9, "Maturity," will air on May 14.
Episode 8, "Loyalty," will air on May 21.
The second episode will also air, though they haven't announced a date for that one just yet. Of course, I'll be covering these episodes once again in all their blasphemous glory.
