Top Chef Masters fans by airing a new episode of
The Fashion Show instead that we should talk about the show a bit. Who is watching this? Is it the poor man's Project Runway (coming soon to Lifetime), or does it have its own good points?

Later this afternoon I'll have my What's On Tonight picks posted, but I did want to give
Top Chef Masters fans a heads up about tonight's episode: there isn't one.
For some reason, Bravo is replacing this week's episode of the cooking competition show with a special episode of
The Fashion Show . And this isn't one of those deals where one show is put in place of another show but that other show is rescheduled to another night during the week, maybe in the slot of the first show. No,
Top Chef Masters won't be seen at all this week (except for reruns of previous episodes, of course).
Fans will have to wait until next week for the next new episode. (And if you're wondering what's on tomorrow night at 10 in the regular time slot for
The Fashion Show , it's a repeat of tonight's episode.)
Oh well. I'm not watching
The Fashion Show so I guess I'll catch
The Philanthropist .

Breaking News: Bravo is changing their slogan. For the past several years the tag line has been "Watch What Happens," but
the network is giving an overhaul to its brand and now the new slogan will be "By Bravo." That's going to take some getting used to, if you're the type of person who watches Bravo and has to get used to things.
Here are some other slogan ideas Bravo could have used.

So you lose a really popular show (
Project Runway - moving to Lifetime). What's a network to do? Well, you just start a similar show! Bravo's
The Fashion Show starts tonight at 10PM. This one is hosted by Isaac Mizrahi and Kelly Rowland. Each week the winner will have their dress sold in an online store, and the season winner will get their own clothing line. Now I just wonder if people will actually watch this or just consider it a pretender and go over to Lifetime when the next
Project Runway premieres. Here's a preview.

Bravo's new reality program, The Fashion Show , a few phrases came to mind: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" was one. "Don't get mad, get even" was another. Then there was "Anything you can do, I can do better."
Yes, it seems that
The Fashion Show is a show that was conceived as a replacement for
Project Runway , the Bravo hit series that has run off to Lifetime.
