Fox has ordered a pilot after seeing a script for a drama called
Suspicion. It's written by Emily Whitesell, a writer for ABC's
Brothers & Sisters. The series is about a woman who becomes a reluctant heroine after discovering her boyfriend is a terrorist. Sounds like a narrow scope but that's how industry types like to sum these things up-- in one sentence.
This pilot order follows a similar order by Fox for a series called
NSA Innocent, about a typical citizen who finds himself caught up in the world of espionage.

The final webisode of the series begins with Angela telling Dwight about the investigation behind closed doors. She suspects Michael, but Dwight, ever the loyal subordinate, defends Michael and says that Meredith or Creed likely had something to do with the missing $3,000.
However, Angela is still suspicious of Michael, and even accuses Dwight of hiding something. Dwight further defends Michael and uses the "You can't handle the truth!" line from A Few Good Men to prove his point.

The investigation of the missing $3,000 is going nowhere. Oscar, Angela, and Kevin are very frustrated with their lack of progress. Suddenly, Oscar discovers a missing $2,800 charge, but Kevin sheepishly admits that he took money out and gambled on pro basketball (Go Pistons!). He says he won, and put the money he borrowed back. However, that amount was different from the $3,000 in question.
Kevin then points to Angela's new necklace, and she says that a "friend" gave it to her. Oscar and Kevin are skeptical about this "friend," but they drop the issue. Angela then says that they have to investigate Michael, who's been the target of suspicion all along. Will we see Michael brought in for questioning? Time will tell...

The investigation into the missing $3,000 begins with Oscar, Kevin, and Angela questioning Phyllis. Beforehand, Angela tells the documentarians that they are pretending to ask other people about the money but they still strongly suspect Michael. However, they have to go through the motions to make sure all their bases are covered.
As they question Phyllis, she admits that she once used the Dunder Mifflin corporate card to while out at a sales call. A heel broke on her shoe, and she ended up spending $14 to fix it. She does say that her boyfriend Bob Vance of Vance Refrigeration allows her to use a Vance Refrigeration credit card in case of emergencies, but Kevin seems to think that melting ice cream cake is the only situation that can be addressed with it.
In any event, the investigation continues. Who will be questioned next? My guess is Creed, since he has admitted to taking stuff before. We'll find out next time.

While fans of The Office are simmering with anticipation to find out what exactly happened with Jim and Pam after their momentous kiss at the end of the Season 2 finale, NBC has decided to whet our collective appetite by producing a series of three-minute webisodes to keep us thinking about our favorite office workers from Scranton, PA.
The story begins with Jan, Oscar, Angela, and Kevin sitting in the conference room whereby the accountants tell Jan that $3,000 is missing from the books. The accountants all say that they don't believe they've made an error, but the always uptight Angela stresses that it is not her accounting error.
Jan doesn't seem too fazed by this situation, but she tells them to look into it and get back to her when they find out something. As she leaves the room, she is told that Michael, with whom she has shared some romantic moments, wants to see her before she goes back to the main office in New York City.

(S01E05) Can a man with three wives love them all equally? From what I gathered in this
episode, it doesn't seem so. Bill and Barb definitely spent a lot of time getting busy with each other. One now begins
to wonder why exactly does Bill have three wives anyway? He has made a few "Scripture-ish" references over
the last few weeks, but it doesn't seem to make any sense.
It isn't a stretch to say that both Nicki and Margene are both major pains in the a**, are very needy, and don't
seem very mature or capable of any independent thought. Again, after viewing what has been going on so far in these
first five episodes, it seems that many of the "sister-wives" of the other polygamists we've come to know
(Roman, Don, etc.) are extremely subservient to their husbands and are either "brainwashed" or just haven't
been exposed to any other way of life.
This whole situation becomes even stranger when Bill and Don decide to call the Utah Attorney General's
"Polygamy Czar" to alert him of Roman's suspicious activities vis-a-vis some shady real estate deals to
unsuspecting senior citizens. As Bill said in the last episode, he's taking his fight to Roman, and things are going to
get a lot heavier as the season moves forward. Seems a bit hypocritical when a polygamist tattles on another one?
