Chuck: Chuck Versus the Best Friend

chuck(S02E14) Twosomes were very much the theme in this episode, not just Chuck and Morgan, but Devon and Ellie, Jeff and Lester, Morgan and Anna, and -- naturally -- Chuck and Sarah as well as Chuck and Casey. There were scenes that dealt with all these pairs and their dynamics.

The case involved Anna's new boyfriend, car dealer extraordinaire Jason Wang, who caused Chuck's intersect to go off and he was involved with an Asian group of baddies called the Triad. To uncover what they were up to, the General -- whom I'm starting to really detest -- ordered Chuck to get close to Anna's boyfriend, which meant betraying Morgan.

Army Wives: Safe Havens

Sally Pressman(S02E13) There was a lot of action is this penultimate episode of Army Wives. After the ripples created by all these stones in the water, I expect that next week's season finale will be a humdinger, although I don't think the finale can equal the punch of last year's suicide bomber at the Hump Bar.

It's clear that the writers like to keep us on our toes, surprising us, and I don't mind the unexpected. But the twist in tonight's show really came out of left field. I'll be frank; it was bad. I won't talk about it further until after the jump, but suffice to say I felt very manipulated, and not in a good way.

The Trevor/Roxy drug story has been building and it's definitely coming to a realistic boil. I feel for Roxy. She's doing her best to keep it together and Trevor has been like another person since returning from Iraq, guilt ridden and injured.

Priest jailed for stalking Conan O'Brien

conan o'brienA priest from Boston is in jail today for stalking and threatening Conan O'Brien. Father David Ajemian was arrested at Rockefeller Center when he attempted to attend a taping of Late Night with Conan O'Brien, according to today's New York Times. He's having a psychiatric examination and will be in court today.

NYC police say Father Ajemian sent threatening letters--some of them written on parish letterhead(!)--to O'Brien for the past year. He sent them to the studio, but also to Conan's home. Yikes.

Smallville: Trespass

Smallville: Trespass
(S06E14)
Lana has a stalker! Or alternatively titled, "The Lana Lingerie Issue" since she's in a nightie for about half the show. How long has it been since we've had one of these episodes? Quite a while. This stalker likes to send camera phone pictures to Lana on her Sprint Product Placement Powered Phone. However, when that phone has potentially earth-shattering evidence on it, you don't just hand it over to your megalomaniacal boyfriend and tell him to check it out. Seriously, what camera phone takes pictures that are that clear, especially when you blow 'em up to an 8" x 10"? Anyhow, nice work Lana, maybe you'll get yourself back to that girl who had so much spunk and moxie.

However, once again Chloe is stuck in the middle of things again while she checks out Lana's picture, and interfaces with Clark. How can she stand it? She just needs to spill the beans to Lana, thereby saving everyone the trouble of running around in circles. However, knowing Clark's secret gets you one of two things: either you don't appear much on the show anymore, or you get relegated to Pete Ross-land -- never to be seen again. They don't even get postcards or phone calls from wherever he got exiled to.

Colin Farrell's stalker confronts him on Leno's stage

colin farrellYikes. Stalkers are scary. And this story is convoluted so stay with me. According to Access Hollywood, a woman jumped up on stage during The Tonight Show with Jay Leno during taping yesterday to confront Colin Farrell, who was promoting Miami Vice. The woman is... um... crazy. She sued Farrell because she said that he was stalking her with inappropriate phone calls and text messages. The case was thrown out.

As Farrell walked out on stage yesterday to greet Jay, she walked to him and attempted to talk to him. Of course, Tonight Show security took care of her. Supposedly, she left a copy of her book, Colin Farrell: A Dark Twisted Puppy on Leno's desk. As she was dragged out of the studio, she shouted, "I'll see you in court." Farrell replied, "You're insane."

*UPDATE: After the incident, Farrell obtained a restraining order against crazy woman.

American Idol contestant stalked

Jessica Sierra is being stalked by a 59-year-old man who says he fell in love with her when he saw her on American Idol last season. While she was on the show, he sent her jewelry and flowers. Tampa, Florida police say Paul Young left Sierra more than 40 voicemails in the last few months, telling her he loved her and he would go to jail for her. What an odd thing to say. When he showed up at the home of her grandmother recently, he was arrested. Young is currently in a Tampa jail, being held without bail.
