Rosie O'Donnell rises again to haunt Sirius XM show

Rosie O'Donnell is back to run her mouth again on Sirius XM.Rosie O'Donnell reminds me of a sexually transmitted disease.

I might have enjoyed my first experience that brought me in contact with her. But she's grown painfully irritating over the years, and I can't seem to get rid of her now. No matter what happens, she just keeps coming back to irritate me further -- leaving me to wonder what ever led me to welcome her irritation in the first place.

When O'Donnell proved too annoying even for The View, and then flamed out on her disastrous one-off variety show, I thought we'd seen the last of her. But it looks like we'll at least "hear" from her again, as she's moved away from the TV talk circuit and taken a gig hosting her own satellite radio talk show on Sirius XM.

Kimmel talks to Howard Stern about Sarah Silverman, the upfronts, how ABC treats him

A very tired-sounding Jimmy Kimmel went on Howard Stern yesterday (before his ABC upfront appearance) and talked about his break-up with Sarah Silverman, why ABC made him fly commercial to the upfronts, and a rather bad experience after eating a big steak. Videos below and after the jump. (It's Howard Stern/SIRIUS, so it's very NSFW).

Is Letterman planning on coming back next week?

Howard SternInteresting news on Howard Stern's SIRIUS radio show this morning (I didn't listen to the show, but I have been listening to the satellite station's holiday music channels!). The King of All Media says that the people over at CBS' Late Show with David Letterman approached him about being the first guest when the show returns with new episodes...on December 3, which is next week! Stern says he thought about it but doesn't really want to go against the writers that are on strike.

Paris Hilton to guest host on The View?

Barbara WaltersI might be a bit of a masochist for putting Paris Hilton and The View in one post, but here goes...

Barbara Walters says she'd like to see the currently jailed hotel heiress as a guest host on the show when she gets out of jail. But not so fast! Even though it would seem that Walters would have the final say on guest hosts, that might not be the case. The executive producer of the show says there's no way Hilton will guest host.

Executive producer Bill Geddie was on Walters' SIRIUS radio show this week and disagreed when Walters said she could be on the show. Geddie said "Let me answer that: No." That prompted Walters to say "Let me answer that: Yes."

Can a week go by without some controversy on this show?

Watch Howard Stern and Jimmy Kimmel make out (virtually) - VIDEO

Jimmy KimmelWell, this is...interesting.

Howard Stern continues his TV talk show tour to promote his Sirius radio show, and last week appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, but not in the same studio as Kimmel. At first it looks like Stern is sitting down in the chair next to Kimmel's desk, but you quickly realized that Stern is in New York City (Kimmel tapes in L.A.) and is sitting in front of a green screen to make it look like he's with Kimmel. You also figure out what's going on once you see Stern and Kimmel attempt to kiss and they can't quite line up their, um, tongues.

Stern also gives Kimmel a free Sirius Stiletto radio. He did the same thing on Letterman last week. I wonder if Dave and Paul feel cheap now? Video after the jump! (Note: the video also includes a 90 year-old woman having an orgasm.)

Stern and CBS settle lawsuit - BREAKING NEWS

Howard SternThe rumors turned out to be true. In a joint press release, attorneys for CBS Radio and Howard Stern have announced that the lawsuit CBS filed against Stern has been settled.

Sirius is going to pay CBS Radio $2 million, and Stern gets back the master tapes from his 20 years of shows.

But am I missing something here? That's a clever way to word it, but what about the actual lawsuit, that Stern was sued because he promoted Sirius while still under contract with CBS Radio? It's nice he gets the master tapes, but it's almost as if they thought of that to deflect the real outcome of the settlement, which remains undisclosed by both sides.

It will be interesting to see what Stern says about this next week (unless he did it this morning, didn't catch the show). If he's even on next week because of the holiday?

CBS, Howard Stern suit settled? - BREAKING NEWS

Howard SternAccording to Reuters, a New York state court clerk has disclosed that a settlement has been reached in the suit that CBS filed against Howard Stern. The suit alleged that Stern had improperly promoted his move to Sirius satellite radio in the months leading up to his day on CBS Radio.

Of course, as in all stories like this, there is no confirmation of a settlement from either side. In fact, both sides are careful to say that no agreement has been signed yet, which doesn't mean that no deal has been reached, just that one hasn't been "signed" yet. As they say in the news, stay tuned ...
