You may have heard that the White House seems to have declared war on Fox News. President Obama has even gone as far as not appearing on one of the Fox News Sunday morning shows even though he appeared on every other network that morning. Now other White House spokespeople are openly saying that the network can't be trusted.
The other day we shared the video of FOX News anchor Shep Smith dropping the F bomb. Now Stephen Colbert responds to all of Smith's various moments of "not being a team player." Colbert is more upset about swearing on live television than anything else. Colbert helpfully provides a list of words that Smith should have said instead of that dreaded four letter one. Added bonus: Samuel L. Jackson!
Shep Smith is one of my favorite people on television. He's always entertaining, informative, fair, and (yes) balanced! He's also a great source for those priceless "live news" moments that make for great video fodder. Here are a few of my favorites, including a new one where the F-bomb is launched (PopEater has even more Shep goodness).
FOX is hoping you like a little politics with your football coverage.
On Super Bowl Sunday (that's this Sunday), FOX News anchor Shep Smith will host a two hour political show on FOX from 10am to noon. The show will not only have news about the election (Super Tuesday is next week), but they'll also feature a story on what it takes to put the Super Bowl together and will include comments from the candidates and other politicians about the game and politics in general.
