Entourage: Amongst Friends

(L-R): Jeremy Piven, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, and Jerry Ferrara.
(S06E02) "Who would've thought I'd be the only one guaranteed to have sex tonight?!?" - Turtle

I know I've said it before, but one of the things that I've always loved about Entourage is how the writers behind the show seem to have this uncanny knack for re-creating exact conversations that I've had with my friends before. I know I'm not the only one out there who's had a laugh with their buddies trying to figure out how exactly did Seth Rogan get laid in Knocked Up? When Turtle made his final point ("His ugliness is oddly fascinating."), it was like deja-vu for me.

Then they went and killed the moment when Vince got that nudie pic of Sloan's friend. That never happens to me or my friends.

Quick Chat with Kyle Bornheimer of Worst Week

Worst Week 1The new TV season has produced at least one breakout star for sure -- Kyle Bornheimer. On Worst Week, CBS's new entry in its solid sitcom block on Monday nights, Bornheimer has made his mark and the show is proving a ratings hit.

Kyle's every guy, not too bright, essentially sweet character on Worst Week, Sam Briggs, fits him like a glove. It's his ability to deliver the physical comedy as well as the self-deprecating lines with a knowing smile that has made him endearing.

Kyle Bornheimer has one of those really recognizable faces. You might remember having seen him in Jericho or Breaking Bad or The Unit. He's been kicking around for the past few years, searching for a role that would give him a chance to shine. That's what he's found in Worst Week.

MTV has second thoughts about weed joke - VIDEO

MTV logoThere's one thing to do a stupid joke that you shouldn't have done, and then it's another to not even have the balls to follow through on the joke.

Case in point: last night's MTV Movie Awards. Seth Rogan and James Franco presented the award for Best Summer Movie of the Year So Far, and while doing it, they did a little plug for their new movie Pineapple Express. They pulled out a bag of fake (?) weed and smoked (?) it onstage, explaining more than once that it was fake and that kids shouldn't smoke it. But take a look at the video after the jump below. As the joke starts, MTV's cameras pull away to a shot that seems to be taken from across the street. You can't even tell what Rogan and Franco are doing on stage, you can only hear them inhaling and introducing the nominees in the category.
