OK, so we've all seen the latest episode of Lost and we now know who the Oceanic Six are.
Don't we?
There seems to be some confusion among fans as to whether we've seen the last of the six "survivors" (in quotes because who the hell knows what the end game will reveal). Up until last night's episode we saw that Jack, Kate, Hurley, and Sayid definitely survived. Last night we were supposed to find out the last of the Oceanic Six. It was revealed that Sun survived too, but Jin died (possibly on the island, but that's another plot point to be revealed later).

Lost, meet
24. ABC is reportedly considering waiting until January 2008 to start season four of
Lost, and then run it straight through May without any repeats (like Fox does with
24). The revelation comes from a
SciFi Wire interview with Naveen Andrews, who plays Sayid on the series. Andrews said, "I believe that's the plan."
This is probably a better plan than what
Lost did this year. We only got to see six new episodes, and then the series went on a 13-week break. Ever since its return last month,
Lost has lost 1-2 million viewers. It could also be the move to the 10 pm time slot that dinged the ratings.
The interview also reveals how Andrews feels about the direction of the show. Without getting angry or too specific, he basically says that he thought the first season was awesome, but he's not so hot on the subsequent seasons. He says he'd sure like to see more Sayid in the show (wouldn't we all?!?). About the writers, he says, "It's their choice to do what they want with that show, and they will." He sounds mildly unhappy, doesn't he?

I know a
lot of you have been disappointed by Lost this season, but they've been hyping tonight's episode up to hopefully quell
a lot of your concerns. It looks like we're going to get action and answeres out the wazoo. What's the wazoo you say?
Well, I'm not sure, but come join me tonight, right
back here to this very post at 8pm EST and that's
when I'll unveil the super secret location for the chat room and we can discuss it together. Will Sayid, Charlie and
Ana Lucia find some answers about Henry Gale, or perhaps find an ambush? Is Locke going to get locked in with Henry in
the hatch? What's with all the drama? See you tonight!

for the room. Again, check back
right here to find the room. In the meantime, make sure that you have
AIM or a compatible instant messenging system (GAIM, Trillian, etc) installed. I'll be
in the room under the id TVSRyan and Keith will probably be there as well (TVSKeith), so look for us. What's the
monster gonna look like? Is Eko gonna kill Charlie? Who knows, but we'll find out tonight. See you at 8!

For Trillian users: Simply click on the link, and as long
as Trillian is set as your default instant messenging program it will open within Trillian.
For Gaim users:
Go to the 'Buddies' menu, then select "Join a Chat". Use your AIM account, then enter the room name
TVSquadLostChat23 and use Exchange 4. That should do it!
