six episode series, One Big Happy Family, will follow them on their journey of self-improvement with different episodes spotlighting different family members. Style network has already met a good response to their chronicle of
Ruby, a 477-pound woman looking to lose weight.

The Style Network is taking on obesity issues with its newest reality series. The channel behind reality shows like
Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane just
ordered episodes of a new series called Ruby.
Ruby will tell the story of Ruby Gettinger, an obese woman from Georgia, as she attempts to lose weight. Gettinger weighs five hundred pounds and is under doctor's orders to lose a significant amount of weight.
Actress Brittany Daniel, a personal friend of Gettinger's, will act as the show's consulting executive producer. She is also going to appear on the show occasionally. Style has ordered nine episodes of
Ruby, a one-hour premiere and eight half-hour episodes. The reality series will air this fall.

S03E04) Wow. Just... wow. I had to keep reminding myself to breathe during this episode. I held my breath as Brenda and the Priority Homicide team looked for a kidnapper. And then I held it as Brenda, and then Sgt. Gabriel, interviewed the creepiest sex offender ever shown on television. And then again, as they found the kidnapped 8-year old they were looking for. Let's just say my brain didn't get a whole lot of oxygen tonight.
And let's talk about that sex offender for a second. Was he scary or what? I am going to have nightmares about that guy tonight. I kept muttering, "Oh my God" to myself as the guy said, "You see, everyone pretends kids don't want to have sex. But they do."
*Shiver*
