By the way, the police were called twice during the filming of this because they thought Quinto was a real crook.

(S02E15) When you get older and have to actually drive to work when the winter weather gets bad, it's easy to forget just how much you loved those days when you were a kid and didn't have to go to school. My school was always the last to close on snow days, and my father, who drove a school bus, was often already headed into work before they'd announce it.

This summer, Donnie Wahlberg and John Leguizamo will star in an eight-episode series for Spike called The Kill Pit. The series will focus on a group of Iraq war veterans who attempt to rob a bank and end up in the middle of a stand-off. Leguizamo will play the mastermind behind the robbery, and Wahlberg will play the negotiator who attempts to bring the hostage situation to a peaceful end.
This sounds like an idea that's been done before, but I do like the idea of creating a series that's meant to only last a certain amount of time. This gives viewers the benefit of knowing there's a impending climax as opposed to a show like Lost that will just keep going and risk losing viewers as more and more people give up hope of anything ever being resolved.
The Kill Pit was written by James DeMonaco. Steve Shill will direct the first four one-hour episodes of the series.
(S01E03) Three episodes into Smith, and this show has started to come off the rails. It's sort of a mess now. And it's getting tedious and boring, with just too many elements (side plots, characters, etc) the writers have thrown into the mix that ruin the tone set by the stylish, clever, moody pilot.
Regardless of how good Smith is - and I'll say right from the get go that it is good - the big question is, are viewers going to give yet another show about a bunch of clever crooks a chance, after shows like Heist, Thief and Hustle? I'm not convinced they will, but if they base it on quality and entertainment value, Smith should be given a chance.

The man accused of robbing Josh Holloway and his wife at their Oahu home could be going to jail for a long time. A jury indicted Ruben E. Royce, 21, with 30 felony counts for a crime spree back in October that included holding Holloway and his wife at gunpoint while he robbed their home. The robber stole money, credit cards, and Holloway's Mercedes (which he ditched a short time later). Royce was arrested less than a week after the incident, following a stand-off near an elementary school that ended with the police shooting Royce with pepper spray and rubber bullets. Royce is also accused of breaking into an apartment near the University of Hawaii where, when tenants blocked the door, he shot into the apartment to get inside. Yikes! That's one bad dude.
Well, that happened a lot quicker than I expected.
A
courtroom in the Bronx was full on Monday when former Sopranos actor Lillo Brancato Jr. and a friend were
arraigned on murder charges. Brancato and his buddy, Steven Armento, are accused of shooting a cop who caught them by
surprise during a robbery on December 10th.
