Soupy Sales not only has one of the funniest scandals in TV history, but here's one that I'm surprised didn't get him and his ilk banned from all of television.

When The Soupy Sales Show was live, his staff set him up for a prank, according to an interview he did with NBC's Bob Costas. As he went into a commercial, he would hear a woman scream, open the door and see a pair of ladies' shoes being dragged out of the frame. But when he actually opened the door, all he saw was a woman wearing ONLY her shoes (I think, I never bothered to look at her feet).

This clip contains censored nudity. So if you're watching it at work, make sure you share it with everyone around you, especially the ladies.

NBC Universal has whored out sold rights for The Office to videogame company MumboJumbo. According to Variety, MumboJumbo makes "inexpensive arcade-style games". It wants to make a game where players have to perform office tasks and play pranks on other characters. Actual audio and video clips from the show will also be featured in the game. MumboJumbo has rights to the likeness of the cast, who will appear as bobblehead dolls.

Basically, it's a simple and cheap "casual" game that is being produced for low-powered systems like Nintendo DS and Sony PSP handheld--and also for the PC. MumboJumbo's website boasts that it creates addictive, casual videogames. The game will premiere this fall and will likely be available online as well as in stores.

Cracked has yet another collection of YouTube clips for your amusement, this time focusing on prank calls made to various news programs. A majority of these calls were made to C-SPAN, which is apparently the cable network of choice for bored pranksters looking for an excuse to say "penis" on television.

I don't know if these are necessarily the "best" prank calls, probably just the best that could be found on YouTube. None of them are especially clever, and the newsmen don't seem especially rattled by the callers. Call me a prank snob, but I prefer my phone gags to have a little more panache. However, the call handled by Ted Koppel is somewhat intriguing, as Koppel refuses to play ball with a man trying to promote his Web site. The man calling to C-SPAN to talk about a war against robots from Battlestar Galactica is mildly amusing, but I give him points for being the most original out of the bunch.

Many years ago, O.J. Simpson committed one of the most horrible crimes imaginable. Namely, he forever ruined the Naked Gun movies for me. Anyway, the Juice is getting back into the world of wacky comedies with a new pay-per-view special called Juiced, in which he plays Punk'd-style pranks on unsuspecting people. I actually contacted the people who handle the back end for this blog and they informed me there wasn't enough space on the servers for me to list every reason why this is the most horrible idea O.J or anyone else has ever had, but I will mention there's a scene in which he tries to sell the infamous white Bronco he used to escape in after being charged for the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Goldman's father has come out against the scene, describing Simpson as "morally reprehensible." My guess is that the usual "tragedy plus time equals comedy" equation doesn't apply when you're the one most closely associated with the tragedy.
