Rock of Love star Bret Michaels ran smack into a descending piece of stage scenery at Sunday night's Tony Awards, going down for the count with multiple injuries.
You can watch the
video here, or just watch after the jump. If you're not a fan of Michaels, his band (Poison) or his "looking for romance" reality show, you should resist the urge to watch it about 10 times while giggling. It's wrong to laugh at another person's misfortune. This reporter would certainly never dream of enjoying something like this.
MIchaels' injuries include a broken nose and three stitches in his lip. He had a CAT scan today as a precaution s he has an old neck injury. No word what effect the impact had on his permanent make-up.

The
nominations for the Saturn Awards came out and as Claude Rains in
Casablanca said, "Round up the usual suspects."
Lost lead the pack with 11 nominations, six for
Heroes, and four each for
Battlestar Galactica and
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Newbie sci-fi/horror like
Fringe and
True Blood also received nominations, as well as the outre
Dexter, Life on Mars, Jericho and
The Ghost Whisperer.
All those make sense to me. However, why did the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror films choose to nominate Bryan Cranston for
Breaking Bad and Kyra Sedgwick for
The Closer, as Best TV actor and actress, respectively?

One of the biggest victims in last year's Writers Guild strike was the Golden Globe awards. Fortunately, the SAG threats of a strike remain just that -- threats -- so the Globes are on and the nominations were announced this morning.
Unfortunately, there were few surprises among the TV noms. In fact, it's kind of worrisome that these nominations are way too similar to the Emmy nominations. Among the new network shows from this season, and last, very little.
NBC will broadcast the Golden Globes on January 11. For the complete list of the Globe noms, click
here, and for some instant impressions on said noms, read on after the jump:

There's a real problem brewing for the Daytime Emmys. The annual broadcast which has been switching off from year to year between ABC and CBS,
may not make it to prime time because CBS has decided to skip its turn...and ABC is not ready to step up and take on the award show.
To some this is simply a symptom of the decline of interest in daytime dramas, which dominate the awards. If you check out
my post from last year's show, my assessment is not that the broadcast is the problem, but rather it's the nominations. There are too many repeat winners, too many actors who are overlooked in the nominating process, and too much sameness. The Daytime Emmys problem starts with the awards, not the show.
Still, what about the foreseeable future and the 2009 awards -- will they be shown on TV?

(S10E27) "This is the first time someone actually did what they said they were going to do for me." - JwryIsn't that just too touching? You did realize that Jerry, one of the final three houseguests in the
Big Brother 10 house is 75-years-old, right? I'm not sure if that's been mentioned during the season. Ah, anyway, it's down to the final three and tonight's show was all about the three-part final Head of Household competition and the final eviction of the season. The final HOH winner decides who will go into the final two with him and from there it's all up to the jury members which one will win $500,000 or $50,000. That's quite the difference, but what's a hamster to do? It's all in the game.

I don't really consider this a spoiler for
Big Brother 10, but what you see in this image is what I see when they block the feeds for comps or before and during the live show. Yes, you've got it! It's never-ending
Big Brother trivia and it's accompanied by the blaring loud theme music for the show. For shorter blocks, we usually get the fish tank. Here's a bit of feeds trivia -- during the first season, we got the chicken coop cam. Sometimes to this day, the feed blocks are referred to as FOTH because in early seasons they went to the "front of the house."

In the beginning, did you think the final three in the
Big Brother 10 house would be Jerry, Memphis, and Dan? In the absolute beginning I wanted to like Jerry and didn't care at all for Dan based on his CBS website bio page. I thought Angie would go the furthest in the game for the women. How wrong was I? Of course, people who just watch the show and don't follow the live feeds tend to have an entirely different perspective on the hamsters.

We're in the final days in the
Big Brother 10 house. It's down to the final three and, as they tend to do, we've been left with a cliffhanger. Well, we were actually left on a "Wing and a Prayer." The winner of this round advances to the final round while the other two face off in the second round. How long are they going to fly through the air battered by the elements?
Read on past the jump for screen caps and the skinny from the 24/7 live feeds. Extreme show spoilers ahead!

(S10E26) "Anything I can use to win this game, I'll do." - DanWe know that Dan will even do a visit with Michelle if need be for him to win the $500,000 prize in the
Big Brother 10 house. Please note that I said he'd do a visit with Michelle, not that he'd do Michelle. Dan does have his limits, y'know. Tonight was the big special live Power of Veto meeting, live eviction, and the start of the final Head of Household competition. Excitement galore as we head into the final days.

The hamsters are starting to get a bit antsy in the
Big Brother 10 house. Oh, I'm not talking about the ants in the kitchen they seem to suffer with every year. I'm talking the houseguests themselves. They know the days are dwindling s. In regard to their ant problem, all they really need do is invite Ted and his spider friends to take up residence in the kitchen!

(
S10E24)
Aftermath of Renny's EvictionKeesha was obviously the most effected by the Renny's absence. She cried in the Diary Room saying, "It's just really hard to watch her walk out the door." Later she lamented that Renny's picture turned black and white. Renny, a woman who lights up the room when she walks in, should always be in color according to Keesha.
Other reactions to Renny's departure varied. Jerry had mixed feelings. He thinks his HOH reign was a success because it kept him in the house another week, but a failure because Dan was his target. Memphis feels that this past week was extremely successful. Renny never really trusted him so he's taken out another threat. And I'd have to agree. Renny called him a snake in the past and didn't really want him in the alliance of four. Dan was also happy with Renny's eviction. If she had made it to the final two, she would have won. Hands down.

I just came to the realization that almost everything I was going to start this latest
Big Brother 10 live feeds with is a spoiler. Yikes! A lot has happened since the live show. Alas, today is a bit more as depicted in this image of Memphis. Yes, it's time for the doldrums. The luxury comp is over, nominations are over, and the Power of Veto comp is done. It's time to watch Jerry nap.
But I do have show spoilers on the other side of the jump!

When last night's
Big Brother 10 live episode ended, we were left with a Sumo wrestler in the living room. Now, you could wait until Sunday night to find out if he's still there. Perhaps they're having him go on a diet of BB slop to slim down. And, what about that luxury competition which could impact the game? You know, the one Julie Chen mentioned at the end of the show last night.
For the latest from the 24/7 live feeds, read on past the jump. Beware, there are spoilers on the other side!

(S10E24) "I was running out of bodies." - JerryOh, no! Could Jerry be talking about dead bodies in the
Big Brother 10 house? He's been talking about being all alone in the house. Now, if there are bodies ... gulp. You never know with some of the houseguests they get on the show. Sure, they pass the psychological screening, but Jerry could just snap. Or maybe I just have an overactive imagination. Read on past the jump for my full review of tonight's live eviction episode.

Another hamster leaves the Habitrail, otherwise known as the
Big Brother 10 house, tonight. Then it will be down to the final four. Perhaps not the four we wanted or expected, but that's how it goes in the
Big Brother game. Tonight's Head of Household competition will reveal the first definite final three player. But the one with all the power this upcoming week will be the Power of Veto holder -- the sole vote for eviction next week.
