Joey Fatone, one of those guys who used to be in a band with Justin Timberlake, has decided that
Dancing with the Stars is popular enough for him to participate. He told a Florida radio station that he had turned down
Dancing three times before but now he'd like to give it a shot, noting, "it's kind of popular now." But, he doesn't want to wear "those stupid tuxes." Riiiiight. Because being in a boy band is so, like, rad. Going into
Dancing with that attitude isn't going to win very many votes. Drew Lachey managed to get past his boy band past to win the second season, but can Joey do the same?
Also rumored to be on the next edition of
Dancing is Duchess of York
Sarah Ferguson.

Now maybe people will start sending comments to Timberlake instead of me.
The ex-N Sync-er and shower of Jackson boob has a lot of things to say about American Idol winner Taylor Hicks:
"People thinks he looks so normal, and he's so sweet and he's so earnest, but he can't carry a tune in a bucket. If [Hicks] had any skeletons in his closet, if God forbid he's gay, and if all these people in Mississippi who voted for him are like [then he takes on a southern accent] 'Oh my God, I voted for a queer!' It's just too much pressure."
The interview runs in Fashion Rocks, a supplement to Vanity Fair magazine.

Two of the boys from 'N Sync have an idea for a television show. One of them is a slob, the other is a clean freak:
and they're roommates! Sound familiar? Joey Fatone and Lance Bass are creating a reality-ish series based on their
lives for UPN. See.. it's the funniest thing. Joey is a total slob. And Lance is a tight ass. Get it? Oh the comedy
that will ensue. I don't know about Lance, but Joey actually seems like a fine actor. He had a memorable supporting
role in
My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding.
UPN says the show is a modernized version of
The Odd
Couple (but you already figured that out, didn't you?). Its working title is
Out of Sync and UPN is
planning for a launch this fall.
