Okay, here's a little game I created for y'all.
I've created anagrams from the letters of thirty different TV show titles. Your job is to unscramble the phrases below into the names of actual TV shows. I've tried to make it challenging by including shows of all kinds from the past and present. I'm not offering any hints, but some should be easier to solve than others. My goal is to not have someone solve all of them within ten minutes of me posting this.
Oh yeah, and you won't win anything. Actually, I take that back: you'll win a mute, invisible, peppermint goat who will magically appear directly behind you once you've solved all thirty.

Right up there with the themes to Charles in Charge and The Facts of Life on the list of songs that are always stuck in my head is that catchy "Mahna Mahna" Muppet ditty. Somebody has created a few musical mash ups by mixing "Mahna Mahna" with some modern tunes, including a song by Kanye West, and that easy listening staple, "Walking in Memphis." Check them out here, along with a few other Muppet and Sesame Street mash ups. The Kanye West track is pretty catchy, and I have to say this new version of "Walking in Memphis" is actually an improvement on the original. Maybe that's because I've never actually walked in Memphis, with my feet ten feet off of Beale. I assume the song is refering to Howard Beale, Peter Finch's character in the movie Network.

I found this on YouTube several days ago and thought y'all would get a kick out of it. A very talented young man has created a musical masterpiece that combines the
Star Trek theme with the
Simpsons theme. These kind of mash-ups have been all over the Web since Danger Mouse mixed Jay-Z's
Black Album with the Beatles'
White Album and called it
The Grey Album. I think this one trumps them all, however, because you also get to see some weirdo dancing around his room while the music plays. I think the peeps over at
The Simpsons should get in touch with this guy and use his song on one of their episodes. Check it out after the jump:

For those of you that didn't know, Barney, from
How I Met Your Mother,
actually
does have a blog.
The writers He writes to it pretty frequently, most of the time
twice a week, and whether they're show related or not, the posts are always quality. This past week, however, Barney
and I are having a little dispute. As you'll remember, I put a lot of research into my post last week about Barney's
"
Get Psyched Mix" from the show;
painstakingly copying all of the songs off of a blurry, handwritten cd from the episode, solely for your enjoyment.
Then, Barney has to go and post an entirely different list of songs on his blog! So, while both take you to legendary
heights of psyched-ness, we'd like you all to tell us which one you think is better.
Song lists and poll
