Jimmy Fallon is a geek. I don't mean this as an insult at all, even he would admit it. So I knew he'd be going to Comic-Con. In this funny clip, he tries to convince a bunch of famous people at the convention (including Jon Favreau, Stan Lee, and the cast of Lost) that his new comic book idea is a winner. Talk about a wealth of choices! When it comes to the Primetime Emmys in the supporting actor and actress categories for drama, there are a plethora of worthy candidates. Some shows, like Mad Men or Lost, for instance, have multiple choices in the supporting ranks, especially since these ensembles seem to have a hard time determining who's really the lead.

Earlier, I shared my wish list for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama nominations, and I mentioned that Chloe Sevigny from Big Love would be a deserving selection. A TV Squad reader let me know that Chloe has actually been submitted in the supporting category. Good to know, and with that in mind, I'll start my wish list by talking about that category. (Remember, there are six nominees per category.)

Comic-Con is coming up, and the lucky people who get to go are going to see a lot of very cool things. Included in that list of things is this Benjamin Linus bobble head doll from Bif Bang Pow! It shows Ben will his arm in a sling and bruises all over his face. It's a limited edition and it costs $17.

If you squint, it could pass for Keanu Reeves.

Lost fanatics, rejoice! We may still have, oh, more than half a year left before we get cheerfully dumped with a load of new episodes (::drool::), but in the meantime, we have DVD's, abc.com, repeats on SyFy, and YouTube!

Yes, YouTube.

Well, technically, we can't get our fix of full episodes on "the Tubez," but the site still provides us with plenty of fodder; fan dedications, clip montages, and music videos galore. Let's face it: people love their Hurley birds, smoke monsters, and everlasting, cancer-conquering romances. And why shouldn't they?

(S05E16/S05E17) "See you in Los Angeles." - Jack

I'm not really sure where to begin, but I think this is a pretty good starting point: holy crap. Just like every season finale before this one, Lost has once again left us all with our jaws on the floor and our brains on overdrive. This changes everything. The big question? How does it change everything? Is it January yet?

As the creeptastic Ben Linus on Lost, Michael Emerson has been the puppet master on the island. He spends his days murdering people, causing others to murder different people, playing mind games and just generally making life more difficult for the survivors of Oceanic flight 815 and everyone else whom he encounters.

Ever since he was going by the name, "Henry Gale," Ben has been a fan favorite on the series. Recently, I was able to grab a few minutes of his time to chat about this week's season finale of Lost and the evolution of Benjamin Linus. He even gives me some parenting advice!

The interview follows after the jump, and as we do discuss this week's finale, I should probably give you a spoiler warning right now. However, since it's Lost, he's not able to give too much away. FACT: The smoke monster is real, and is deployed against any actor who dares to speak too freely about the show-- so I got what I could.

(S05E15) "I have a purpose now." - Locke

I can't believe how fast this season of Lost has gone by. There's probably a time-travel joke buried in that realization somewhere, but my head is still spinning from "Follow the Leader," so I'm not really in clever witticism mode. Honestly, I'm speechless. For the most part, this wasn't one of my favorite episodes of the season. But for me to be at a loss for words at one of Lost's sub-par installments - well that says something about the quality of this show. "Follow the Leader" was a lot of set up for next week's two hour finale and the events that have been set in motion (even though it seems they always happened) are mind-numbing.

(S05E14) "Well, I got some bad news for you Jack. You don't belong here at all. She was wrong." - Faraday

After listening to Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof ranting in last week's Lost audio podcast, I didn't expect "The Variable" to be this much of a game changer. Everything we thought we knew about the island, time travel, and course correcting - it all got turned upside down. I think it's safe to say that the 100th episode of Lost is going to be remembered for more than just its milestone significance.

It's rare to get an actor like Lost's Michael Emerson on a network TV show. He's quirky, slightly off-kilter (I mean that in a good way), unpredictable with his line readings, and someone that can do as much with a look on his face as with a speech of 1000 words. In other words, he's a good actor. Here's a clip from TV Guide where Emerson talks about filming that "judgment" scene with the Smoke Monster (yes, I'm capitalizing it), the show's 100th episode (this Wednesday), and what it's like to actually be recognized by people on the street.

OK, maybe "annoying" is too harsh, as I can see people being into recap shows if they're done well. Then again, if you're a big fan of Lost, then you've already seen this stuff and you're really aching for a new episode.

Sometimes we don't think of nursery rhymes as being creepy. Sure, they can often involve death or family problems or just weird-ass scenarios, but it would take someone really special to be able to say the nursery rhyme out loud and make it sound disturbing. In this case, that person is Lost star Michael Emerson, who plays Ben Linus on the ABC show.

He was a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, and Fallon got him to read "Little Boy Blue." Get your little ones close to the screen tonight before they go to bed and play it for them.

In the clip after the jump, Fallon also shows some illustrations that Emerson did in the 70s and 80s for The Boston Globe. He was a freelance illustrator before he became an actor, and the pictures are...well, they look like something Ben would draw while sitting in his cabin trying to think of what sneaky thing to do next. And I mean that in a good way.

(S05E13) "That douche is my dad." - Miles

I've been waiting for an episode like this. We've gotten close to nothing when it comes to backstory on the freighter folk and had it not been for the writer's strike, I'm guessing that "Some Like it Hoth" (or at least something Miles related) would have aired during season four. Last time we got any substantial info on Miles' orgins was "Confirmed Dead" and all that filled us in on was ghost whisperin' powers and his conscience - ripping people off doesn't come easy for him. We got a helluva lot more info this time around.

(S05E12) "Well... John, we don't even have a word for it. But I believe you call it 'the monster'" - Ben

Wow, I'm not quite sure where to begin. This wasn't one of the best episodes of Lost (for lack of a better term, it was safe), but I walked away from it feeling enlightened. It's not often that Lost leaves you with more answers than questions.

That being said, I still have a ton of f%#k&$g questions.

When we last left our castaways on Lost, Ben had just woken up and seen that Locke was sitting next to his bed. Locke obviously has a ton of questions for Mr. Linus, such as "why did you strangle me to death," and Ben had a look of surprise on his face.

So fans are wondering if Ben is shocked to find out that Locke is alive (because he was, you know, dead) or if Ben killed Locke knowing that he would come back to life some day (I just realized how crazy that sentence must sound to people who don't watch the show). Lost continues to impress me. I really do think it's one of the great TV dramas of all-time, and last night's episode was rock solid. Except for one thing I'm going to be nit-picky about.

OK, so Sawyer and Kate bring young injured Ben to the Others so they can save him, and Richard tells them that, yeah, I can save him, but he won't remember what happened to him and he'll lose his innocence. Up until now we (and Hurley and Miles, in one of the episodes best scenes) were wondering why Ben didn't remember that Sayid shot him as a kid when he became an adult. And the writers quickly solve this by just having his memory erased?

That seems really, really...lame.
