With the finals upon us, we call in our favorite ballroom pro for one last chat about the goings on down at the DWTS studio. This week Jonathan gives us his thoughts on the new cha cha faceoff, as well as the freestyle performances from the remaining couples.

He also offers up his pick to take home the big mirror ball. Getting to some viewer questions we talk about the music, the judges comments, and get an update on those future plans he hinted at earlier in the season. All that, and more, after the jump.

Just like that, we are one week away from the finals. The final four met up at the ballroom Monday night to make their best cases for going forward to the big finale showdown next week. With the fan vote in play, who we will be seeing in the finals remains too close to call.

Jonathan Roberts is back this week to give his thoughts on all of the performances, and tackle some reader questions. Read on past the jump for his thoughts on adding lifts, ballroom in the Olympics, how the pros are cast on the show, and which MMORPG helps to fill up his free time.

Week 8 brings us another chat with our favorite pro. This week Jonathan weighs in with his thoughts on all of the couple's performances and picks his favorite dance of the night. It was a better week for the judges, but there is still one dance that he didn't agree with them about...at all.

Along the way he talks about the difficulties the pros face choreographing the performances as they move further into the competition. We also get to some reader questions. Read on to hear about his trip to the White House, the most, and least, memorable moments from his years on the show, and a sneak peek at just what they have planned for Tuesday's big results show.

The rumor that Paula Abdul will be a contestant on Dancing With The Stars has been floating around for a while now, and gained a little more steam with Paula's recent appearance on the show. Now, along with all the fan chatter, we are getting reactions from some of the people involved with the show. Our pals over at TV Guide sent along a press release for their upcoming issue, which you can find in its entirety after the jump, with quotes from Carrie Ann and Bruno.

In a nutshell, Bruno thinks she would win. Carrie Ann says that Paula is fragile and won't realize how much pressure is on her until she's signed up and can't get out. I asked DWTS pro Jonathan Roberts about it Monday night and his take was that he would be surprised to see Paula compete on the show because of her extensive dance background. He added that he thinks Paula has been around reality TV enough that she would know what she is getting into. I say, good or bad, it's a spectacle waiting to happen. What do you think? The pressure was turned up a notch this week as each of the couples had to do two complete numbers for the first time. The results of all their hard work left the judges scores landing all over the map, from 21 to 29. Jonathan is back this week with his take on all of the performances, and some thoughts on those confusing scores.

It probably won't mean the end of the questions, but Jonathan does his best to try and answer the age old DWTS puzzler, how the heck does the lift rule work anyway? And... Jonathan on waxing. We're back for what ended up being something of a strange week five. After the highlights and big scores of week four, things were a little rougher this week. I talked with Jonathan about that and a number of other things.

He touched on the man-go, Steve's elimination, which celebrity he's been impressed with, Carrie's critique of Marissa on performance night, the growing fame for some of the pros, and what he and Anna will be up to now that they are both out of the competition.

Yes, it's that time of the television season once again. The fine folks over at ABC are back with another round of Dancing With The Stars. The competition kicks off for real on Monday, but Erin and I thought it would be fun to see what everyone thinks about this latest group of contestants before they all hit the dance floor. Who looks to be the favorite? And who looks to be in trouble before the show even begins. After the jump, I'll take a look at the ladies competing in season six.

The other day I had something pretty shocking happen to me. Literally. I got a bad shock in the bathroom. I touched the light switch with wet hands and got a pretty good zap. (I'm OK, thanks!)

And you know what I blame for the electric shock? The recent stock market losses.

I bring this up because of Marie Osmond's explanation as to why she fainted on Dancing with the Stars the other night.
