It's the day after the big (and often controversial) Evel Dick Donato first place win on
Big Brother 8, as well as his daughter Daniele's second place win. Together, they won $550,000. Not chump change for sure, but I'd like to see this show increase its grand prize to a million like other reality shows of its ilk.
Julie Chen interviewed both Dick and his loving Evel Spawn on
The Early Show -- the CBS website has
an extended version of that interview available online as well as the
initial interview itself.
But the kicker is
a set of video interviews with all of the houseguests posted by the CBS affiliate in Los Angeles. Those took place in the yard before the wrap party and include such treasures as Amber telling us she taught America it's okay to cry. Yeah, right. [A tip of the hat to commenter
OrkMommy for the link to the CBS backyard interviews!]

Every week AOL's
The TV Tattler will have an exit interview with the most recently evicted houseguest from
Big Brother 8. Being the fan of the show and its live feeds that I am, I feel the need to not only share a bit of the latest interview, but add in my own two cents as I do!
The shock at his eviction last week on the show was as real as we're ever going to see on reality television. He surely thought he had it all in the bag, didn't he?
Let's see what he had to say in
his exit interview ...

(S08E06) I know Amber's formal title is "Cocktail Waitress", but I'm thinking about writing the producers of
Big Brother and seeing if we can't get that permanently changed to "Professional Crying Champion of the Universe."
I mean, seriously, have we made it through a single episode without her showcasing the puffy, reddened, "someone just kicked my puppy off of a bridge" face?
I'm surprised she doesn't walk around the house in a constant state of dehydration considering she loses about a quarter of her body weight in water each day through her overextended tear ducts.

This is an early review.
Orel [reading from the Necronomicon]: I'm gonna read from this book that's written in a different language: "bon jour, arrivederci, ooh la la, that's Italian!, ching ching ching chong, spaghetti, top o' the mornin' to ya!"
When I interviewed Moral Orel creator Dino Stamatopolous last October, he mentioned that an upcoming episode would feature a short film created by Orel himself (but actually animated by Dino*). This is that episode, and it both rewards fans of the series and takes a few shots at those who hate it.

(S11E07/S11E08) It's a double-leg through Poland this week, but we guessed that last week when we learned that tonight's episode would be two hours long.
I was wondering how the producers were going to even out the race after the huge time discrepancy last week. The final teams arrived 16 hours after first place Mirna & Charla. It turns out that time discrepancy couldn't be made up and things just kept getting worse for the bottom two teams until the second leg when the teams came to an Intersection.
This week, the teams visited Warsaw, Auschwitz concentration camp, and Krakow, Poland. The trip to Auschwitz was incredibly depressing and I thought it was handled well enough by the producers. Obviously, it would've been in horrible taste to have them do any sort of challenge there.

(
S11E03) This episode really had my heartrate going! When it came down to the end, there was a certain team that I wanted to be eliminated but they remain. Sigh.
The teams remained in Chile this week. Things went from tense (thanks to Mirna) to hilarious (thanks to Rob) throughout the episode. I think my favorite team so far is Rob & Amber just because they're so laid back. Everyone else is taking this waaay too seriously.
Spoilers after the jump:

Reverend Putty: Judas had a pretty good omelet face mask.
In this episode, Orel learns another important lesson from one of Reverend Putty's sermons, this time about loyalty and doing whatever it takes to make your friend happy. Orel decides to test this theory on Coach Stopframe's nephew Joe, willingly joining in such questionable activities as throwing rocks at cars, burning ants, and beating two sexually-curious young boys with baseball bats in the forest. We also get some more insight into Orel's parents, who we learn are both having an affair with Coach Stopframe.
