With the latest seasons of Survivor, The Amazing Race, and American Idol wrapping up, fans patiently have to wait until the fall or spring 2010 for their favorite shows to return. But why wait? Several reality TV shows debut in the summer both as lighter fare than fall shows and a way to test for target audiences.

If one recalls, several summer reality TV shows have eventually moved to prime real estate in the fall or spring. If rumors are true the summer favorite So You Think You Can Dance will be the next to move, airing in the summer and fall.

Here are some alternatives for your favorite reality TV shows.

• At 8, ABC has a new Wipeout, followed by the two hour season finale of I Survived A Japanese Game Show.
• ABC Family has a new Secret Life of the American Teenager at 8, then the new movie Picture This!
• ESPN has two new episodes of The World Series of Poker at 8.
• At 9, CBS has a new Big Brother.
• NBC has a new America's Got Talent at 9.
• Sci-Fi has a new Eureka at 9, then a new ECW.
• Food Network has a new Food Detectives at 9, followed by a new Road Tasted with The Neelys.
• At 9:30, HGTV has a new episode of The Stagers.
• At 10, A&E has a new episode of The Cleaner.
• FX has another new Rescue Me minisode at 10.
• There's a new How To Look Good Naked on Lifetime at 10.
• Discovery has a new Smash Lab at 10.
• At 11, Bravo has the season premiere of Million Dollar Listing.

Our Monday morning roundup of a half dozen things TV Squad readers - and TV fans in general - will be talking about this week.
