"Oh my god, one of them is a war veteran! We're gonna have to give him some change!"
Oh, South Park, I think I love you. You not only hilariously satirized how society has dealt with the homeless problem, but you also parodied Dawn of the Dead, one of my favorite movies of all time. There were also a couple nods to Day of the Dead and Land of the Dead tossed in for good measure. South Park, if you were a crazed, half-dead, hideously burned woman I would kiss your lipless face.

Jesse James, the host of
Monster Garage, may be a bad ass but he also is a kind-hearted fellow. When a homeless shelter opened up across the street from his Long Beach, California motorcycle shop, West Coast Shoppers, he decided to make a connection. In a
short article in People magazine, James says he decided to help people get off the street by giving them employment. The first person he hired is now making $8.50/hour and has an apartment with his wife. James says, "Not everyone has been as lucky as I have, and it's time for me to use the success I have been blessed with to help others in Long Beach." Ahhh.. what a nice guy!
In other Jesse James/gossip news, he and wife Sandra Bullock
are not expecting a baby.

(S03E04) Well, this was certainly a fun week on Wisteria Lane! I love the ending premise that no matter what is going on, we can write our own histories. Now, I know what you're thinking: That is also a phenomenon commonly known as denial. But it can also be known as saving face and muddling through.

(S01E09) While the Sports Night team readies for special 2am coverage of a climber's assault on Mt. Everest (not sure if ESPN would break in for that), Jeremy and Natalie come to terms with their growing relationship, Dan tries to figure out what charity to give his money to, and Dana plans to bring her niece to see The Lion King on Broadway.
Of course, she thinks she can get tickets the same day of the show. She calls and the guy just laughs at her and hangs up.

(S02E05) Last night's episode of Wonder Showzen was
incredibly surreal, even for Wonder Showzen. The show began with a science fair in which Sthugar reveals a
propeller beanie powered by sadness, and Wordsworth creates a television which shows his dreams. Unfortunately,
Wordsworth's deepest fears manifest themselves into an actual monster who escapes the TV and wreaks havoc on the town.
Chauncey demands Wordsworth face his fear, but Wordsworth is too afraid. Therefore, Chauncey and Him use Him's shrink
ray (which doesn't actually shrink an object but instead makes everything else bigger, giving the illusion of
shrinkage) and journey into Wordsworth's brain in order to bypass his free will and make him fight the giant monster.
The segments inside Wordsworth's brain included some great meta moments, especially when they find themselves inside
his short term memory center and they become sensory echoes themselves, multiplying and repeating into
infinity.
