Bridget Marquardt is already traveling the world showing us
Bridget's Sexiest Beaches on the Travel Channel. Now it's Kendra Wilkinson's turn. Easily the most annoying of
The Girls Next Door,
Kendra's new E! show will premiere this fall. Now that all the girls have left the mansion, it's time to see what's next for them. And for Kendra, who was only 18 when the show premiered, it's about time she learned how to be an adult who isn't pampered by the staff at the Playboy Mansion.
And that's just what her show, cleverly called
Kendra, will do as she prepares for her wedding next month. My wife is a fanatic for
The Girls Next Door, so I've seen more than my fair share of them, and the show is actually much sweeter than you'd expect. One of my questions was what they would do with it now that the girls have left the nest. Apparently, the show will continue and presumably feature Hef's new girlfriends, the twins (not those twins, though I'm sure they're featured as well; they really are twins!).

(S08E07) – "I'm not scared of the double elimination or rattlesnakes" – TyI was happy aboutone thing last night that I forgot to mention: all the music fit. I dreaded that this week would have more obscene tango music (
Star Wars Tango?) and six performances of the Lindy Hop set to Christina Aguilera's "Candyman," but the classics fit. Speaking of no bad music, the guest performers would have been given a harsh critique by Simon Cowell
if they were on
American Idol.
There was no dance-off, which is a shame because I'd love to have seen what Holly's performance would look like without the mistakes. The clip recap did reveal how badly Holly slipped off of the chair. Since it was close up last night, we only got to see her face go "oops." She basically
fell off the chair. More analysis after the jump.

(S08E06) "The Geeks Shall Inherit the Earth" – The WozTonight was the breakout night where the leaders all blasted past everyone else. Three of the last week's top four contestants in the front all received 10's. I'm a little nervous for Ty and Chuck now, and although I like both of them, if the four in the front progress the way they are, then the rest of the pack will slowly be eliminated.
This week introduces new dances in hopes that they will reinvigorate the competition and take people out of their comfort zones. The double elimination is looming and the contestants tried their best to be safe. We start the night with another trip on the stairs with Karina, and that isn't the only thing that proves this show is live. Len accidentally uses the term "Jitterbug" instead of "Lindy Hop," but quickly recovers. Also, throughout the whole show, Samantha goes through puberty. More analysis after the break.

Other than injuries plaguing most of the contestants, there are a few issues still making the celebrity dancing competition complicated on
Dancing with the Stars. I love the fact that
Denise is confused that she was eliminated. It's not like she was even top tier of dancers (Shawn, Gilles, Melissa, and Lil Kym), or even the middle pack (David, Ty, Lawrence, and Chuck). She was in the bottom heat with Steve-O, the Woz, and Holly. If I were the other three, I'd practice hard and hope I wasn't double eliminated.
Also, as a minor update, along with the opening credits finally being used, the pictures of Holly and Melissa have been update to match the rest of the contestants on the
official website. No longer the really
bad Photoshop job plaguing the contestant's page. It doesn't exactly match the other contestant's photos, but it's better than nothing. More news after the jump.

Steve Wozniak dodges yet another bullet. Not only did Steve not have to battle for his life, he was called early to the surprise of Karina. Steve Wozniak has fans. Lots of fans. I remember Kathy Griffin mentioning he had "Mac Enthusiasts" in her last comedy CD, but I guess they were actually as fanatic as she joked about. He must be getting the most votes to overcompensate a 10.
I smirked a little watching the show. I'm not sure why, but there was a glitch at one point when Samantha was interviewing Melissa. I was almost happy that I didn't have to hear her voice. Anyhoo, after seeing Steve safe, the bottom two was obvious. More information after the jump.

Three months ago, if you asked me who Melissa Rycroft was I would have had no clue. I've never watched an episode of
The Bachelor in my life. I spent my Mondays watching
The Big Bang Theory and
Jon & Kate Plus 8 and never got why or when they started the idea of rejected contestants becoming the bachelor/bachelorette.
Then out of nowhere, Nancy O'Dell has to pull out from
Dancing with the Stars. The ABC executives shuffle and put Bachelor contestant Melissa Rycroft in her spot. Half of America is happy to see her rebound from national dumping; the other half doesn't know who she is. Thus the big question: Is Melissa Rycroft a star?

I've been watching
The Girls Next Door for a while and it presents such a quandary for me. I feel like I'm betraying the feminist movement every time I tune in. If I knew an old man who had relationships with multiple young girls and made them "kept women," I would think he's a sleaze ball and wouldn't want to have anything to do with him. However, I fully admit that I find
The Girls Next Door fascinating.
It's probably because the life that's portrayed is so far beyond my frame of reference that I can hardly believe that it's real. In any case, I've been a semi-regular viewer and I've found myself even rooting for the girls. I want Bridget to finish school, and yes, I've even been rooting for Holly to get Hef to marry her. Well, I believe Bridget has gotten her Master's degree, and it seems like Holly may even get her wish too.
Bridget was recently overheard dishing about a "huge wedding" coming up on the show.

Love will always find a way.
Page Six is reporting that Hugh Hefner may be marrying girlfriend number one and star of
The Girls Next Door Holly Madison. While no official announcement has been made, word is that Hef is orchestrating the wedding to capitalize on the popularity of the reality show, and of course, he loves her.
If the show is any indication, Holly is the most devoted of Hef's girlfriends. She's waged a long and hard campaign to score that ring on her finger. I don't watch this show religiously, but it is among my guilty pleasures. I've always felt bad for Holly. She clearly loves the old guy, but she has to watch him scamper about with someone like Kendra, who spends her free time having
custom grillz made for her teeth. I suspect that Kendra, who Holly reportedly hates, will get the boot once Hef goes exclusive, but God only knows what "monogamy" means when you're an octogenarian playboy in the post-Viagra age.
