If there aren't already enough
Star Wars video games for your liking, you can make your own with Cartoon Network's
Star Wars: The Clone Wars Game Creator.
With the animated action show continuing to draw big numbers on Friday nights, its home network is serving up a chance for fans to
build their own Clone Wars game and share it with other gamers.
According to the network, these game creators aren't a stunt to generate TV show buzz. The
Ben 10: Alien Force Game Creator posted more than 630 million game plays since it went live a year ago, with more than 4.6 million games created by online visitors.
Once fans open their game creator, they choose their character (Anakin Skywalker, Captain Rex or Cad Bane) and their vehicle (AT-TE, AT-RT or Speeder), allowing nine different combinations of character abilities and vehicle powers.

(S04E03) There's so much that's right about
Friday Night Lights this new season that it probably sounds like I'm overdoing it with the positive notices. However, the way they've shaken up Eric and Tami's life together in Dillon has been terrific.
The gerrymandering for the town, sending Eric to coach a poor school with a tattered football squad is inspired storytelling. And Tami's not in a better place back at West Dillon because
she sent Luke Cafferty to East Dillon, the school he was supposed to be attending. The Boosters are not happy with Tami. Eric's not sleeping. What's going to happen now?

J.J. Abrams is the guest editor of
the latest issue of Wired, and it's not only filled with info about the new
Star Trek film and
Lost and
Fringe, it has a bunch of puzzles scattered throughout that might actually give some clues to
Lost. Inside there are many oddities and games: missing text on page 46, and Hurley's lottery ticket numbers (and other numbers) on pages 104 and 105. As for
Star Trek, there's a six page comic included.
Here's Abrams talking about the issue.

The folks at our sister site
Cinematical are working hard to give you news and reviews of the best -- and worst -- the silver screen has to offer. Here are some of their latest musings on the latest blockbusters, indies, and everything in between:
- When I was younger, I went through weird movie phases. When I was about 10, I decided that I needed to see every single Friday the 13th movie; so I did. Suffice it to say, I'm psyched about An Obsessive-Compulsive's Guide to the Friday the 13th Movies.
- Am I the only one who feels like starring in a movie based on a video game is beneath Gerard Butler? Check out an early review of his upcoming movie, Game, and decide for yourself.
- The film, W., is obviously not a documentary, but while Oliver Stone took dramatic license with the material, he did do extensive research as well. Check out the fact guide for W.
- Do these Hollywood director attack ads make more fun of John McCain, or directors like John Woo and Wes Anderson? More importantly, are they funny?
- Cinematical wants to know what you're wearing. Enter their 4th annual Halloween costume contest, and win a crap-ton of DVDs!

No doubt about it, the TV viewing world loves
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In fact, there are some of us ... ahem ... who just can't seem to let it go.
Yeah, I just called the kettle black, as I mourn for
Buffy like no other show in the history of television. However, now that a
massive mulitiplayer online Buffy game has been announced, I am wondering if all the
Buffy love has gone just a bit too far.
I could stomach the previous video games, mostly because they weren't purchased by anyone in my household, and I have even been known to read the season eight comic books (which may or may not have something to do with the storyline of the MMO game). Maybe, just maybe, I am wondering if it is time for all of us to just let
Buffy rest in peace.

The Two Coreys just started its
second season on A&E. To celebrate, A&E has put together a Mortal Kombat-esque game at their site. You can play as either Corey Feldman or Corey Haim. I choose Feldman and mastered his signature move "Dreamt of Success Smackdown." If you hit forward, down, back, and Z, you blow this pink dust with purple stars right into Corey Haim's face. I won by performed the move about eleven times. Then I finished Haim with a punch. Nice, right?
After I won, I unlocked the "Wooden Stake Attack." I've yet to unlock the "Gas Pedal Crunch" or the "Voodooie." That last one sounds awesome. You can also play as Corey Haim. His signature move is the "Dirty Sock Slap." You have to register at the site for it to record your progress (that is, unless you plan on playing for the rest of the evening and beating the game).
Check out
Corey Vs. Corey over at A&E's site. The Two Coreys airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET / PT.

Every year we get a new crop of fall shows to look forward to (or maybe not-so-much), and while some gain a huge fan following and others barely truck along, one thing is for sure -- at least one show will not complete even one season.
Already
we've seen that it's possible for a show to be canceled before it even starts, but that won't stop us from holding our annual contest to pick the first new show to get the boot. In fact, this time we're going to give everyone three chances to win. The prizes:
$75 Amazon.com gift certificates. Read on for details.

If you haven't yet tried Stephen Colbert's AmeriCone Dream ice cream from Ben and Jerry's, you should. It is the most "just okay" ice cream you'll ever taste. Your tastebuds will be bombarded with a cavalcade of average, middle-of-the-road flavor.
Okay, so AmeriCone Dream never did much for me. I'm more of a Phish Food man, what can you do? However, on July 7, Colbert will be doing something Phish has never done: he'll throw the first pitch at a RiverDogs baseball game in Charleston, South Carolina (his hometown). He won't be throwing a ball, however, he'll be throwing a pint of AmeriCone Dream. I'd like to see the entire game played with a pint of ice cream, but that probably won't happen. Jerry Greenfield, the "Jerry" in "Ben and Jerry's" will catch the pint. Let's hope he does, because I'm pretty sure getting conked in the head by a pint of frozen ice cream is kind of painful, especially if one of those waffle cone shards get wedged in your eye.
In addition to tossing his ice cream, Colbert will also sit in on the radio broadcast during the game.

Okay, here's a little game I created for y'all.
I've created anagrams from the letters of thirty different TV show titles. Your job is to unscramble the phrases below into the names of actual TV shows. I've tried to make it challenging by including shows of all kinds from the past and present. I'm not offering any hints, but some should be easier to solve than others. My goal is to not have someone solve all of them within ten minutes of me posting this.
Oh yeah, and you won't win anything. Actually, I take that back: you'll win a mute, invisible, peppermint goat who will magically appear directly behind you once you've solved all thirty.

That's right, fans of Jackass, the popular MTV series that spawned two feature films is being turned into a game for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS. You can pick up your copy on September 24. Or, you can pick it up after September 24. Or you can order it online and not have to pick it up at all. Or you can use your money to buy a jar of pickles, what the hell do I care?

CBS has plans for two new reality/game shows, one about real people who make announcements via huge dance numbers, and a new improv/sketch comedy game show (hosted by Craig Ferguson) of which no significant details have been released just yet. Both shows have been greenlit by the network.
Life as a Song, is a reality program in which people can make big announcements or ask questions (I predict we'll see a few marriage proposals) through an elaborate song and dance number. The series comes from the producers behind Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

I have to say, I expected something a little more challenging from the folks at mental_floss. This TV theme song quiz was pretty easy (I scored 100%).
Okay, I'll admit that I got a couple of them correct through a process of elimination. If you had walked up to me and started playing the theme to What's Happening?, I wouldn't have been able to tell you what it was. I was too young to remember What's Happening?, but not too young to remember the syndicated spinoff What's Happening Now?, although I don't know how the theme to that series went, either, which is probably for the best. God knows I've spent many a night slamming my head in the oven door to erase any memories of The New WKRP in Cincinnati, also.
Anyway, go take the quiz and then come back here and let me know how you did.

TV Squad readers are a diverse bunch, coming from different backgrounds, cultures and tastes. There is one thing that unites us all, however: we loves to party. That's why I invite all of you to play this crazy game I just invented called "Geraldo/O'Reilly, Yosemite Sam, Tasmanian Devil or Screaming Baby?"
Here's how to play:
Have one person play each of the following video clips for two seconds, and then have a group of blindfolded players try to guess if they're listening to an argument between Geraldo Rivera and Bill O'Reilly, Yosemite Sam losing his temper, the Tasmanian Devil spazzing out, or a toddler throwing a temper tantrum.

This is the third installment of my two-part series in which I turn to that great teaching tool known as television in order to enlighten both myself and my readers on various subjects.
Today, we look at baseball, which I know absolutely nothing about. In fact, here's a true exchange that took place on my first day of summer youth baseball:
Coach: Adam, you take right field.
Me: What's right field?
Here's just a small sample of what I've learned about this great sport, thanks to TV:
