Hey there gentle TV Squad reader! Have you got nothing but time on your hands right now? Do you need a healthy activity to occupy your time? Have you completely lost the will to go on living? Then put down that suicide cocktail and pick a pen or pencil for this "Kramer Counting" challenge!
Someone at Funnyordie.com has compiled all of Cosmo Kramer's entrances from all 174 episodes of Seinfeld into one viral video. I've tried counting them and got three different totals on three different tries. See if you can count the number of entrances. As an added challenge, the only rule I made for myself is that they must include the actual Kramer played by Michael Richards coming through the door, not the guy playing Kramer on Jerry's show-within-a-show, Jerry. I also counted scenes where someone is opening the door for Kramer but not the final scene were Kramer is running out the door.
I gave up during the fourth try since my eyes completely melted out of their sockets, a sign that I should really stop doing something. The same thing happened when I tried to do a review of Michael Strahan's Brothers.
Conan O'Brien is a better interviewee than interviewer, as this "Between Two Ferns" interview with Zach Galifianakis shows. He and Andy Richter sat down to chat with Galifianakis at FunnyorDie.com and they touch on everything from The Tonight Show to whether or not Conan touches himself while watching himself. It seems to be all scripted but it's funny (not die). There's a surprise guest star too.
Have you seen the Brooke Shields' commercial for Latisse? Were you as confused by it as I was? It sounded like a cosmetics commercial, which I think was the idea. They soft-sold the whole pharmaceutical angle because of the side effects. After all, getting longer eyelashes is worth risking red and itchy eyes, or "eyelid skin darkening," isn't it?
Generally speaking, I like Brooke. I watched Suddenly Susan. I even watched Lipstick Jungle. But I don't like this commercial, even if she's endorsing the best eyelash growing stuff in the world. The way it's put together is deceptive. It looks and sounds like she's selling eye makeup, which she's not.
Full disclosure: back in the day, Baywatch was a guilty pleasure of mine.
Having said that, I certainly don't want it to return, either as a TV show or a big screen movie or a video game or even a set of glassware. But I do like this Funny or Die video below, which shows the return of Nicole Eggert. Hey, she still looks OK to me!
This video from Funny or Die is actually pretty amusing. It's called "Charla Loves To Dance" and features Casey trying to find other people dance with at a bar. I wonder if she wanted to do this on SNL and it got voted down?
Just the other day I was wondering what was up with Tiffani (no Amber) Thiessen. And now we know. She's so busy she can't do that damn Saved By The Bell reunion on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, so don't ask her anymore, OK? She has a live-action cat comedy to direct!
I had forgotten about J-Stache. It's been several months since we first heard about it. But now FunnyorDie.com has the trailer for the web show. It's about Hall & Oates' John Oates and his mustache (yes, you heard me right). They team up to battle evil and score chicks. It's all done like a 70s cartoon. I think the part that had me laughing out loud in this trailer below is when Geraldo Rivera shows up.
We've already shown you the FunnyorDie.com video that shows "Jon Gosselin" and his Match.com profile video. You knew it was just a matter of time before "Kate" got her response. This probably works better if you watch Jon & Kate Plus 8, but I don't watch it and I still found it funny.
This is pretty funny: Funny or Die has created a Match.com video for Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Jon Gosselin. Now that he's going to be free from Kate, he's looking for a date. Didn't mean for that to rhyme.
The funniest part is the screen name they give Jon.
