Big Brother 11: Finale HOH, season finale

Natalie and Kevin made it to the final three on BB11
(S11E30) Natalie and Kevin made it scheming all the way into the final three on Big Brother 11. But, did they make it to the final two? Did one of them win the half-million dollars? Or did Jordan blow them both out of the water? It was an unlikely final three and the first two-hour live season finale. Despite the rather lame "high school cliques" theme to the season, it definitely had its moments of BB history.

Big Brother 11: The inevitable clips episode

Kevin is in the final three on Big Brother 11
(S11E29) The Big Brother 11 finale will be a two-hour extravaganza on Tuesday evening. It's going to be similar to the Survivor finales with all of the houseguests, a big reunion, and love and joy abounding. Well, Chima should be missing. I'm not so sure on the love and joy either. Perhaps it will be fisticuffs and brouhahas. Hey, if Natalie wins it all, I can see the audience going into uproar mode. It will be live and should be interesting. But we had to get through the latest episode first.

Big Brother 11: HOH #11 part one finish, HOH #11 part two

Kevin is torn between two women on BB11
(S11E28) They say to "expect the unexpected" on Big Brother 11. Well, tonight showed that the viewers can expect an unexpected scheduling of events. Here I was expecting to see the hamsters dwindled down to two tonight. But that wasn't to be the case. However, I did expect Kevin to dress up all spiffy and funky. Sure enough, he did. He had matching red sneakers to complete the outfit.

Big Brother 11: PoV #9, Eviction #10, HoH #11 (start)

Kevin needs to win the power of veto
(S11E27) Yep, we're nearing the end of Big Brother 11 as the final four gets chopped down to the final three. It's not the final three (or four) I would have imagined at the beginning of the season, but rarely does my first impression hold out. As the very pregnant Julie Chen mentioned at the top of the show, there is one representative from each original clique left in the game. I also wouldn't have predicted that she'd last the season. But she proved me wrong.

Survivor: I Trust You But I Trust Me More (season finale)

JT and Taj talk on Survivor Tocantins

(S18E14) Well, tonight was it for Survivor Tocantins. It's hard to believe that the 18th season of the show is a wrap. Why, wasn't it just a few years ago that Richard Hatch was the evil fat naked gay guy and all the talk around the watercooler? We've progressed a lot during those nine years. This season we stepped up the game to include a naked skinny Mormon crude dude and a delusional coach. So, how did things go down tonight? Read on.

Survivor: Say Goodbye to Gabon (season finale)

Survivor Gabon comes to an end.
(S17E14) Way to go, CBS. Give us an overly long three-hour season finale and reunion show of Survivor, and let football delay its start for a half-hour on the East Coast. Just once couldn't they have shortened 60 Minutes? Yeah, I'm cranky. I watched the show as it aired and now it's way late as I get it written up. CBS could console me by inviting me to the next finale, which should be held in NYC. Do you hear me, CBS? My crankiness aside, tonight's show was both surprising and refreshing, with a few odd quirks along the way. Read on!

Big Brother 9: Final HOH competition, final eviction

Adam, Sheila, and Ryan are up a creek on Big Brother 9
(S09E34) "I was getting drownded!" - Sheila

Hey, I know I know the word is "drowned." But I'm not Sheila, the single mom, and one of the final three houseguests on Big Brother 9. I guess I made the foolish decision to work for a living and not pin all my hopes and dreams of a happy future on appearing on a reality television show. She made the decision without seeing even one season of the show in its entirety. I've seen them all. I would never be on the show, never!

Read on past the jump for the full review of tonight's episode.

Big Brother 9: Final PoV, final three, final HOH part 1

Ryan in charge in the Big Brother 9 house
(S09E33) "Personally, I want to win this veto because I want to be a power whore." - Ryan

Yep, I wanted to get the atmosphere just right for this review of the latest Big Brother 9 episode. I think Ryan's sentence says it all. Well, as far as his own strategy goes, that is. He's sitting pretty heading into the final three as his position of Head of Household gives him a definite spot in the three. But the remaining three must wheel and deal, scramble, sell their souls ... whatever it takes.

Read on past the jump for the full review.

Survivor China: A Slippery Little Sucker (season finale)

Courtney from Survivor China(S15E13) Well, this is it. Who's going to win it all on Survivor China -- the schemer, the lunch lady, the beauty queen, or the waitress long shot? Now, if I were a wagering woman, I could have won some money on this one. As with the first season with Richard Hatch, I picked the winner from the first episode. So, I'm two for fifteen. I guess I should ask Jean-Robert how those odds do in the real world, eh?

Ah, but I won't say a word about the winner before the jump. I know how dangerous that can be.

But I was right. 'Nuff said.

Last Comic Standing: The final three perform

Last Comic Standing Logo(S04E09) We are now in super-filler territory here, folks. A 44-minute broadcast with only 15 minutes of real material (the three five minute sets from the remaining comics) dictates that we see things like: the last four comics introduced one-at-a-time... twice; longer bios of the remaining three comics; a commercial-interrupted elimination "ceremony"; a set by LCS alum Jay London; and a really unfunny set by Caroline Rhea, a synergistic move that NBC used to promote the upcoming season of The Biggest Loser.

Oh, and there were two Mel Gibson jokes. One good, one not so good.
