The Law and Order actor was charged with three counts of carrying a loaded weapon. All charges come from his May arrest when he was detained by airport security while trying to board a plane. The former police offer of nearly twenty years tried to get by security with a .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol in his briefcase. Farina is looking at up to two and half years in jail and $3,000 in fines if he's convicted on all three misdemeanors. The first count is carrying a weapon in a secured area. The second is possession of a concealed weapon. And the third is possession of a loaded weapon in a public place.

However, the LA county District Attorney is not charging the 64 year-old actor with a felony which would have carried more serious punishment and a larger fine. A spokesman for the DA explained that the office felt a misdemeanor was appropriate.

About the arrest Dennis Farina has said, "It is my own stupidity to find myself in this embarrassing situation."

On Monday, April 28, CSI star Gary Dourdan was arrested in Palm Springs, California. He was asleep in his car and when a police officer approached, he found Dourdan disoriented. The actor was arrested after the cop found cocaine, heroin, Ecstacy, miscellaneous prescription drugs and paraphernalia in the car. Despite pleading guilty to drug possession today, Dourdan will not have to do any jail time. In fact, in the deal his lawyer struck with prosecutors, Gary will get treatment for his drug problems. Basically, he lucked out.

"Once Gary completes 30 hours of a diversion program, his case will be entirely dismissed," said his lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, in a statement to The Associated Press. Dourdan won't have to do any time in a drug rehab facility or behind bars, so all things considered, he's very, very fortunate. He could have faced up to three years or more in jail .

Gary has already departed CSI, and in the season finale, his character was seemingly killed in a point blank shooting. However, when Jorja Fox returns for the fall premiere, Dourdan is reportedly in the show. And not as a ghost. So, now that he won't be doing time, he'll have time to film scenes for CSI and, presumably, wrap up the unfinished business of the CSI crew exposing the corrupt under sheriff.

The FBI has charged a man with illegally uploading the first four episodes of last season's 24 to LiveDigital.com before the episodes even made air. Chicago's Jorge Romero, 24, could face three years in prison if he is convicted of the felony charge.

According to the FBI, Romero isn't even the original bootlegger. He reportedly found the first four episodes on Mininova.org and uploaded them to LiveDigital and then posted about his uploads on Digg, which got a lot of traffic. The FBI is still hunting for the person who originally "stole" the episodes from Fox. Agents suspect the culprit is somewhere in the chain of DVD distribution. This past season, Fox released the first four episodes of 24 on DVD immediately after they premiered on the network. Those DVDs were sent to distributors several weeks before the season premiered.

It was a busy week at the Margera estate. Vincent "Don Vito" Margera, Bam's uncle and co-star on Viva La Bam, was ordered to stand trial on felony charges that he groped three girls at a public appearance. If convicted, Uncle Don could face up to six years in prison. That's unfortunate news so let's move on to the good stuff.

Professional jackass Bam got married to childhood pal Missy Rothstein this weekend. The couple wed in front of 350 friends, family and MTV crew members. The wedding will be televised in April as the culminating episode of forthcoming reality show Bam's Unholy Union. Putting in appearances at the wedding were Tony Hawk and James Iha, formerly of the Smashing Pumpkins. Best of all, Iggy Pop performed as part of the festivities. Hot damn.
