What's Hot on SlashControl: Criss Angel Mindfreak - Bike Jump Vanish
I'm the perfect Criss Angel Mindfreak viewer, because I have no idea how he does all those stunts and tricks. I'd like to, though!
And while Criss seems just plain freaky, he's always the perfect gentleman when dealing with people. Except for times when he does something completely freaky and you'd think the people involved would have a heart attack.
In one episode, I watched a guy who seemed like he was actually having his head cut off by a guillotine. It seemed so real, because Criss was running around telling people to call 911 and whatnot, and the guy's wife was nearly having a stroke. Unless they were in on it, that was way too cruel a trick to play on anyone.
In this clip from our sister site SlashControl, Criss trains with champion aerialist and world record jump holder Trigger Gunn to jump a 60-foot long, 20-foot high ramp at 50 mph. Apparently, Criss is a longtime fan of motorcycle jump legend Evel Knieval.

TV Obits: Knievel, Tolkin, Mercer
A roundup of TV people from in front of the camera and behind the scenes who have passed away.
- Evel Knievel: He was the most famous motorcycle stunt artist, and he seemed to be on ABC's Wide World of Sports every other week in the 70s. His most famous jumps were his Caesar's Palace jump and his Snake River Canyon jump in a rocket. Though he made more than he missed. He died of complications from diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis at age 69. Oddly, just two days ago he settled a lawsuit with Kanye West.

Evel Knievel sues Kanye West over music video
Evel Knievel doesn't mince words. When talking about his lawsuit against a Kanye West music video, he says, "That video that Kanye West put out is the most worthless piece of crap I've ever seen in my life." He's talking about the video for the song "Touch the Sky", where Kanye suits up as "Evel Kanyevel" jumps a canyon. Knievel says West didn't have the right to dress like him (in a snazzy red, white and blue suit) or ride a motorcycle that closely resembled the one Knievel used when he jumped Idaho's Snake River Canyon in 1974. Knievel says the video is "vulgar and offensive" and it damages his reputation.Well, I agree with Evel Knievel on one point: that video did really suck. But, this lawsuit just makes Knievel sound like a grumpy old man waving his cane in the air.
