S03E05) This week in
Eureka wasn't quite what I expected. After the dramatics from "
I Do Over" I assumed most of that would be swept to the side and we would be treated to one of the more comedic episodes. The fact that the episode was based on a mummy, and that goofy title, kind of hinted at that as well. It wasn't all yuks and Egyptian mysticism though. Weaved in with that weekly story we had the fallout from those major events from last week.

Every day, I receive about one hundred e-mails demanding I post a video of a foreign version of
Sesame Street. I also receive about the same amount of e-mails each day from people demanding I stop lying about people wanting to see a foreign version of
Sesame Street. At any rate, after the jump you can see what
Sesame Street looks like in another country, though you won't see any familiar faces, just a big green guy and a blue genie. You might notice the green fella is created in the same manner as Big Bird, whereas the puppeteer uses one hand for the head and the other hand for the left arm while the right arm remains motionless. I can't understand what either of them or saying, but I think it has something to do with the Denver Broncos, or possibly herb gardening. Check it out:

It seems everyone wants a piece of Omar Sharif these days. First a televised drama in Britain tried to woo the legendary actor, and now Sharif has turned down an offer of one and a half million pounds to appear in an Egyptian drama. Don't take it as snobbery, however, as the aging actor claims he's been turning down roles due to failing health. He also recently turned down the chance to lend his voice to the upcoming animated adaptation of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.
