Pamela Anderson likes to have sex. That has been made clear the past several years. Now she's making a reality show all about it.
That's what it sounds like to me anyway. Anderson herself says that she and new hubby Rick Solomon don't really do anything except stay in and have sex, so the new reality show that the pair (I'm talking about Anderson and Solomon, not the other pair Anderson is famous for) will launch on E! next year will probably have a lot of that in it. Plus the fact that since Baywatch, Anderson is best known for her honeymoon sex tape with Tommy Lee and Solomon is most famous for...well, a sex tape made with Paris Hilton. US Magazine reports that a source says that "these two don't have any boundaries, which is perfect for reality stars."
Yeah, OK. I really don't know what to say anymore.

First they were kicked to the curb by E! Entertainment Television, and now the same thing has happened with the TV Guide Channel: Joan and Melissa Rivers have been let go by the network and replaced by Lisa Rinna, star of Dancing with the Stars and various soaps.
Joan has a lot to say about what happened, but is keeping quiet until a new deal is finalized, says her spokesperson.
I love the press release from TV Guide Channel President Ryan O'Hara. Let me translate his remarks:

Former supermodel
Niki Taylor has sued E! Entertainment Television for "intentional infliction of emotional distress" with its recent
Boulevard of Broken Dreams profile of the model's career and near-fatal 2001 car accident. According to Taylor and her lawyers, E! secured Taylor's involvement in the profile by telling her that the show would focus on her current professional endeavors - including a fragrance and clothing line.
Boulevard, of course, did no such thing. The show's tagline is, after all, "In a place between heaven and Hollywood, dreams turn tragic and fame goes sour fast."
The complaint filed by Taylor's lawyers reads that E! "neglected their journalistic obligations to report truthfully and accurately." E! replied that they weren't aware that "journalism" had any attendant "obligations." The network's spokesperson issued a statement saying, "We're E! Entertainment Television, not E! Stewards of Responsible Media Television." Just kidding. E! has yet to go on record regarding the suit.

This is how television programming logic works. We have one successful show -
Dr. 90210 - and a second successful show -
The Girls Next Door. If we combine the two, than we get a third successful show - duh. These guys don't get paid the big bucks for nothing.
What exactly would the bastard child of
Dr. 90210 and
The Girls Next Door look like? Wonder no longer. It looks like the
new reality series from E! Entertainment Television - High Maintenance 90210. The show promises to take viewers inside the "mansions of the super-rich residents of Beverly Hills." Each episode's storyline will be told from the point-of-the-view of the domestic workers that keep the worlds of the "super-wealthy" and "super-demanding" spinning.

E! Entertainment Television has given the greenlight to a third season of
The Girls Next Door, a behind-the-scenes look at life inside the Playboy Mansion with Hef and his three girlfriends Holly, Bridget and Kendra. To no one's surprise, the show is the E! Network's most popular.
Unfortunately for the girls, they may have to up the ante. Former Playmate and Mansion resident Izabella St. James is on the verge of releasing a
tell-all book about what really goes on inside the Playboy Mansion. Try not to be too shocked, readers, but it involves s-e-x.
