Elevator
Moods, an online collection of mildly amusing vignettes shot in an elevator, has been picked up by A&E.
The network has bought the thirteen Web episodes and plans to create more. The series could run both online and
offline, which seems natural, I suppose. Also in production is a reality show called
King of Cars based on a
car dealership in Las Vegas, and another reality offering focused on a drag-racing family titled
Driving
Force. Finally, Gene Simmons is venturing into the reality realm yet again with
Gene Simmons' Family
Jewels, another show based on the real-life adventures of a (sort of) celebrity, his wife, and his two kids.
Other shows for A&E are under development, including Commander Castle, about Paul Castle, a long time
member of the UK Police Force; Polar Posse, about young volunteer firefighters in Alaska; and Finally a
Family, which focuses on the final stages of the adoption process. Best of all, there's an hour-long special
called Rock Paper Scissors, which will cover the $50,000 tournament based on the game which has been sweeping
the nation since 1735.
