Another clue in the search for HIMYM's Mother

HIMYM
One of the things that I love about How I Met Your Mother -- there, I said it, I love the show -- is the mystery surrounding who "mother" is and whether we've already seen her on the show or is she still to be introduced. It's not just the Lost fans that are watching scene by scene, shot by shot, frame by frame to uncover clues. Take this very cool observation by a blogger at Seat42f.com.

If you look at the picture, the green boxes, you'll notice that the framed handwritten letter/poem/writing in the background of Stella's home (left), is the same as the framed letter/poem/writing behind the kids in the opening of the show. According to the blogger -- who has HD and studied the scenes closely, it's definitely the same artifact.

The Simpsons: Who Shot Mr. Burns? Part One (season finale)

simpsons(S06E25)

Burns: Since the beginning of time, man has yearned to destroy the sun. I will do the next best thing: block it out.

In no episode has Burns been more evil than in the two-parter "Who Shot Mr. Burns" that bridged the sixth and seventh seasons. He becomes so evil in fact, that Smithers actually turns against him, even though it "violates every sycophantic urge" in his body.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. The episode begins with another normal day at Springfield Elementary, with one minor difference: Super Dude, the classroom gerbil, has died, crushed by his own water bottle. Willy buries the gerbil in the boiler room, assuring the dead rodent that his own father simply got thrown in the bog when he died. Although, didn't his father appear in the season ten episode "Monty Can't Buy Me Love?" Yes, he did, but let's not worry about that, okay? Okay.

Can you find any clues in the Lost Season 3 poster?

Lost season 3 posterOK, help a Lost non-watcher out: Comingsoon.net has posted a new poster for the upcoming season of the show. Usually, that's kind of a non-story, but given the penchant for J.J. Abrams and company to drop clues in the oddest places, maybe the significance of the story is that they've put some of them in this poster.

I asked Keith if he saw anything in the poster that might be considered a clue, but the only thing he could say was, "I guess you could mention that it's pretty clear that Michael is really gone from the Island, as he's not on there." OK. I'll take his word for it.

The ComingSoon story has a larger version of the poster, so take a look and leave a comment if you see anything else (or if you don't...).

CSI: Way To Go (finale)

CSI; Way to Go

(S06E24) I wasn't too excited about this episode mainly because I watched so few episodes this year. For whatever reason, this was the first season of CSI that didn't consistently hold my attention. This finale kept with that trend. It just wasn't that good. Especially when you consider how much they put into last year's two-hour Tarantino explosion. It was amazing. This one just felt like a regular episode.

Lost "easter eggs" from Fire plus Water

lost beachSeveral readers pointed out that there were several hidden gems within the lackluster episode that aired this past Wednesday. Thanks to friend Izzy at SpoilerFix.com for pointing me in the right direction in locating what I wasn't able to see myself. Read on if you want to know more about the two key scenes in question.
