(S07E11) Well, that was a little confusing, wasn't it? Kelso is still in charge of the hospital, Keith is still around, and J.D. and Elliot are talking about their almost-kiss from the 6th season finale, something we thought they had gotten past awhile ago.
It was pretty obvious that, once NBC told Bill Lawrence that he couldn't make any more new episodes after the strike was over, there was a mutual decision to make "My Princess" the season (and, as it turns out, the NBC) finale. Problem was, since it was episode 709 (look it up
at the NBCU Media Village site), some continuity problems would rear their heads.
Oh, well. Continuity was just a small problem with this episode. I will say this: any episode Zach Braff directs is going to be ambitious, and this was about as ambitious as
Scrubs has gotten. But for some reason, I was expecting more from this
Princess Bride homage than I got. It was funny in spots, but it could have been a whole lot funnier.

(S07E10) So next week, according to NBC, is the
"Scrubs finale," which means that only 11 episodes will have aired for what was going to be the show's last season.
Epguides.com lists a 12th episode, but I'm guessing it either never got made or it'll be saved for the eighth season on ABC.
Anyway, tonight was definitely an episode full of transitions. Kelso's on the golf course. Cox is the interim chief of medicine ("Chief Dr. Cox," as he orders everyone to call him). Carla wants another baby, especially now that Turk's a Uniball. Ted's got some confidence for once, and is challenging the authority of the Janitor. And J.D. and Elliot are starting to look more and more like a couple, especially when they're cooing over little Sam Dorian.

(S07E04) This was kind of a quiet episode, wasn't it? It seemed to go at a relaxed pace that I haven't seen from the show in quite some time. As we've been finding out this season, Bill Lawrence and company have been trying to scale back the zany and make some episodes that were more reminiscent of the show's early years. But this one felt like an
early one, like one of the first few half-dozen where even J.D.'s internal monologue was subdued.
But I liked it. It really got in and explored some of the characters' insecurities while giving us a few of the classic laughs that
Scrubs is known for.

(S06E19) Notgettingany Syndrome is an affliction that affects millions of American men, and it seems to run rampant at Sacred Heart, doesn't it? Carla's still not feelin' it months after having a baby, so Turk goes without. The Todd always talks a good game, but no one's getting into his banana hammock. Kelso can't find any interesting Asian massage therapists to befriend; he's so desperate, he's thinking of actually having sex with his wife. And, J.D.... Well, we all know what's going on with J.D.
What does all this mean? Lots of cold showers. A lot of thinking about your aunt's arm fat. And it also means we've found one of the funniest episodes of the season.

(S06E17) Bill Lawrence and company really seem to be on the back pages of the playbook, aren't they?
For the second time this season, we're out of J.D.'s head, this time hearing about the everyday thoughts of Ted, The Todd, and Jordan. We were already privy to Kelso's thoughts in an earlier episode, which means the writers are breaking the pattern of jumping out of J.D.'s head for an entire episode only once per season.
But, you know what? Sometimes, the last pages of the playbook have all the best plays. This was a funny and refreshing episode.

Warner Brothers has announced that the first season of The Drew Carey Show will be released on DVD on April 24.
The first season of the show had 22 episodes, and the four disc set will also have some extras, including a gag reel and a featurette titled "Life Inside A Cubicle."
There was a time when this show was one of the best sitcoms on TV (at that particular time anyway). It was funny and clever and quite enjoyable. Then the show just seemed to...vanish? Really, it never seemed like it was officially canceled by ABC, it just sorta went off the schedule. Then some old episodes that were never show actually aired on ABC a year or two ago I believe. I'm not sure if there are still episodes of the show from the last season that were never shown, but I'm sure they'll show up on DVD in a couple of years (assuming that this first set sells well of course!).

According to
People.com,
Scrubs star Christa Miller has given birth to a boy. It's the third child for Miller and her husband,
Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence. People reports that baby Henry Vanduzer Lawrence arrived at 12:05 this morning. Henry joins siblings Charlotte, 6, and William, 3.
On
Scrubs, Christa, 42, plays Jordan Sullivan, wife of Dr. Perry Cox. Her pregnancy was written into
Scrubs, which is being filmed right now but won't appear on the NBC schedule until the new year.

Christa Miller, who plays Jordan on
Scrubs, is expecting her third child. Her husband is Bill Lawrence, the creator of the show. They have two children together: Charlotte, 5, and William, 3. She's due later this year.
I wonder if they'll write her pregnancy into the plot like last time? I'd love to see some more Jordan-Dr. Cox love/hate banter. Not sure if they'll do it since Carla is already pregnant and that might steal her thunder.

I realize this is probably the third
Scrubs post
today (and
the second with an exclamation point
in the title), but it's on my mind. While this season has been hilarious so far, I really miss Jordan (Christa Miller).
Where is she? She appeared on the right half of my television screen last night during the celebration party for Carla's
pregnancy, but that was it. Earlier this season, she played a comatose hangover that was pause-the-TiVo-for-laughs
hilarious. And her school girl uniform to impress the cute gynecologist was creepy-funny. But, for the past 3 weeks
she's been MIA. The last time she had a significant appearance was in the "My Buddy's Booty" episode on Feb.
28th, and even then it was a tiny part. I checked her
IMDB profile
and she doesn't have anything else but
Scrubs happening right now.
I realize she's not a main
character on the show, but I definitely miss her presence. The show just doesn't seem balanced without a bitchy,
botox-injected woman around to torture everybody!
