Stuff Magazine's wimpiest men on TV

Ryan Seacrest... WimpFunny little article on Stuff magazine's website; they list the five wimpiest men on TV. Yes, I said "wimpiest," a term that people probably haven't heard since their local Morning Zoo made fun of the competing radio station or Hefty last advertised its tough garbage bags. But it's an apt word to describe the fellas on this list; Mikey from American Chopper is the most manly of the five (he beat out Butters from South Park by a nose), and that's only because he hangs out in a bike shop all day.

Of course, if you're going to limit yourself to five wimps and include both Ryan Seacrest and Carson Daly, then you're not thinking hard enough. Both those guys are already in the Metrosexual Hall of Fame, so to consider them among the nominees yet again seems to be redundant to me. Where is Kirk from Gilmore Girls? Dr. Chase from House? J.D. from Scrubs? George O'Malley from Grey's Anatomy (hmm ... I sense a trend)? If you're going to mention a cartoon character, then other fictional wimps shouldn't be off-limits. Can you folks name more TV wimps? Let me know in the comments.

South Park: Cartman Sucks

south park(S11E02) I think the basic idea behind this episode is summed up by the "straight" priest at Camp New Grace when he informs the "confused" residents of the camp that they are like paper clips, and that like paper clips, God wants them to be straight, nevermind the fact that they were created "not straight" to begin with. At the end of the episode, Butters also sums it up nicely when he says, "I wasn't confused until everyone started telling me I was."

First HD episode of South Park coming to XBox Live

south parkWired has news that tomorrow the South Park episode "Good Times with Weapons" will be made available exclusively in HD on XBox Live Marketplace. "Good Times with Weapons" is the episode from season eight in which the boys purchase ninja weapons and are transformed through the power of their own imagination into anime warriors. Unfortunately for Butters/Professor Chaos, reality starts to seep in when he takes a throwing star in the eye. In true form, the boys don't try too hard to help Butters, though they do dress him as a dog so at least he can receive veterinarian care. Hey, it's better than nothing.

Also, if you buy an XBox 360 between March 20 and April 3, you'll get a free DVD copy of this HD episode. And don't forget that season eleven kicks off Wednesday night with the episode "With Apologies to Jesse Jackson."

More information can be found here on one of our sister sites. Thanks, Tucker.

South Park: Hell on Earth 2006

Biggie Smalls: How, punk? We don't use money in hell, nigga!

Butters: Well damn, nigger, there's gotta be some way!

South Park season eight on DVD August 29

south parkSouth Park has been doing a fine job of getting the season sets out in a timely manner, and on August 29 the eighth season will be available. Some of the episodes, such as "Awesom-O" and "Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset" are already available on the recent "best of" DVD, but this season also had some other great episodes, such as "The Passion of the Jew," "Good Times with Weapons" (in which Butters is accidentally hit in the eye with a ninja star so the boy's dress him up as a dog and take him to a vet), "Something Wall-Mart This Way Comes," and, possibly the best South Park Christmas episode ever, "Woodland Critter Christmas." The set will contain all fourteen episodes from the season, and the usual mini-commentaries from Matt and Trey.
