Of course, this could be a discussion of the other
Bones episode we saw this week, "Double Death of the Dearly Departed." FOX has aired three episodes of
Bones since last Thursday, surprising even longtime fans who had no idea that there would be yet another new episode of the show last night. What night would you like to see the show on permanently? And no, fans, you can't say "put it on twice a week every week." What did you think of last night's episode?

Oh, the disparity with the television control in my house ... I suffer through
Prison Break,
Lost (I am probably the only non-fan in America, who cringes at the self-indulgence of the show with the plot that goes nowhere),
The Shield and Breaking Bad.
But when I want to watch
Bones? The moans, the groans, the laptop and the disinterest begin. Why is
Bones not allowed in Mantown?
Tell me men, why are you opposed to a show with a strong male lead character, who is well rounded, funny, good-looking, sensitive, somewhat damaged but complex and good at what he does? You surely can't be threatened by a TV character. My husband loved
Angel, so why is
Boreanaz not getting the love on
Bones?

There is a fun interview for fans of
Bones, or fans of guys that sing Shaniah Twain songs in Chevy truck commercials, over
at Pop Gurl. TJ Thyne, who plays Hodgins, answers 20 questions about the show, his career, and various other topics. I found his description of the original idea for Hodgins interesting. The series version of Hodgins is much different than the early concept, and definitely for the better. He's become my favorite character on the show.
They also cover the Hodgins/Angela relationship, how he found out he got the gig, the Hodgins fortune, and how things have changed between Booth and Hodges over time. And a bit of trivia for fans of the show: The original title was
Brennan. It's not the worst title ever, but
Bones is so much better. The interview is pretty much spoiler free. Thyne hints at something that may be coming up, but doesn't confirm it, so you're safe.
