The Office Convention: Part Four -- The cast Q&A

Look at all dem peeeeeeeeeple!(Continued from Part Three...)

After the press conference, the cast was shuffled into a larger gymnasium filled with what the organizers said was 3000 people. I'm going to tell you this right now: the Cast Q & A was unwatchable.

This was because after every single thing any one of the cast members said, the entire audience of 3000 people would hoot and holler with almost religious excitement. When Darryl got up and kissed Kelly, I half expected the majority of those in attendance to fall to the floor shouting in tongues.

Medium: The Whole Truth

Miguel Sandoval - Medium(S03E08) After a one week delay, we finally get a look at "The Whole Truth" and I have to say, we really could have done without it. Team Medium dropped the ball and delivered an episode that is best described as boring. The episode just never seemed to pick up speed.

It was like the difference between seeing a comedian tell a joke and having your friend tell you the joke after they see it. It's still the same joke, but one way is much better. I think there was a good episode in this idea somewhere, but the way they told us just wasn't it.

Don't the home teams know I flew all the way over there to see them?).

But I don't know how much of the All-Star Game I'm going to watch  tonight. And it's not just because I have to review Last Comic Standing, which comes back tonight after a week's break. It's just that the game has become beyond boring.

The Tonight Show: No fireworks between George Carlin and Ann Coulter

Jay LenoI haven't watched The Tonight Show in a while. I much prefer David Letterman to Jay Leno anyway, but I find it a greater struggle to stay up past 11:35 PM to watch late night television. However, I wanted to watch The Tonight Show last night because both George Carlin, one of my favorite comedians, and Ann Coulter, who has been gathering much attention lately for her caustic commentary on the 9/11 widows, were going to be on the show. I thought there would be some major fireworks between Carlin and Coulter and would make for terrific television. I thought wrong.
