One of the most famous
Saturday Night Live alums is returning to the show for a "best of" special. Mike Myers will host an evening of his best work in a primetime special. The comedian will introduce his most memorable sketches in front of a live studio audience. Some current SNL cast members will join him: Fred Armisen, Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler, Andy Samberg, Kenan Thompson and Kristen Wiig.
Mike Myers can also be seen in
The Love Guru this summer. The film, which also stars Jessica Alba, introduces us to yet another Myers' character, the Guru Pitka.
I loved Myers' characters from
Saturday Night Live. I'm sure we'll see Wayne Campbell, Dieter, Linda Richman (my personal favorite), and young Simon who
likes to do drawings. Are you looking forward to a particular character or skit?
Saturday Night Live: The Best of Mike Myers will air on June 15 at 9 p.m. on NBC.

NBC announced today that 90-minute "Best of" specials of
Saturday Night Live will air throughout December. These special episodes, featuring sketches with Will Ferrell and Chris Farley to name just two, will air in primetime Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.
The first "Best of," to air on December 8, will be devoted to Will Ferrell's best work on the show. This episode will feature sketches of Craig the Spartan Spirit cheerleader, singing middle school teacher Marty Culp, along with Ferrell's portrayal of Alex Trebek on
Celebrity Jeopardy and much more.

Anna's
video yesterday of the "Best of Tiny Fey" made me think about another "Best of" clip I saw this week. The "Best of Ralph Wiggum" video on YouTube contains the funniest
Simpsons moments from our favorite dim-witted Springfield resident.
At almost ten minutes long, the video (after the jump) seems to drag a little bit, but it contains plenty of classic moments to keep you chuckling. If you are -- or have ever been -- a
Simpsons fan, this compilation will induce many golden feelings of nostalgia. The vid was edited by CurtisCroninProduct and has been viewed almost two million times.

NBC has put together
a compilation of Tina Fey's 'Best of' moments when she hosted Weekend Update on
Saturday Night Live. And it's free. On YouTube.
For real.
The video is a little over four minutes of some good one-liners and zingers from Fey. It's meant to create buzz for the return of
30 Rock, but is still fun to watch. One of my favorites is her joke about
Brokeback Mountain being "the only cowboy movie where the good guys get it in the end." It's not that funny on its own, but knowing that the joke came from her 72-year-old father makes it hilarious.

It's
Cheri Oteri, the actress who spent five years on
Saturday Night Live playing different variations of the same
character. She always played it wide-eyed and hyper. Want examples? Sure! There's Ariana the cheerleader, prescription
drug lady, old lady on the porch (was that Rita Delvecchio?), and even Mickey the Dyke. Although, I did enjoy her in
the morning news spoof she did with Will Ferrell when the teleprompter went out and they resorted to cannibalism. And,
I know the women haven't received a fair shake on the show, but she's downright annoying. Give me a
Best of
Jane Curtin or Jan Hooks or Nora Dunn!
I've already got the Christopher Walken (just for the cowbell)
and Will Ferrell 'best of's and if I were to add a DVD to my collection, it would have to be Phil Hartman. Best
character actor. Ever.
