I've been inundated with letters lately but this one from "Kathy" seemed very urgent.
She asks..."Can you tell me the name of the bar from King of Queens?"
Well, Kathy, the short answer is yes, yes I can.
The long answer, however is only slightly longer. At the risk of name-dropping, I decided that the fastest way to get the answer to this question would be to call my friend Patton Oswalt. I always like to point out that even though Patton has become a full fledged movie star (Ratatouille, Balls of Fury) he is never too busy to be a very cool guy. His true talent, however, is telling jokes and if you ever get a chance to see him live, take it.

Thomas Lennon, currently of the Comedy Central series Reno 911! and formerly of MTV's cult sketch series The State, was on the podcast Guys with Feelings recently to discuss all things Thomas Lennon. The podcast is a lot of fun, but to just hear the Tom Lennon portion, skip ahead to about 1 hour and 19 minutes.
Lennon talked about the upcoming ping-pong movie he wrote with Ben Garrant called Balls of Fury (trailer below), and about the fifth season of Reno 911! that just wrapped taping (also, he wishes his character, Jim Dangle, didn't have to wear those tiny shorts).

Sorry, I know Comic-Con has come and gone and we've all gone back to our boring, mundane lives, but I just found this great clip featuring Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon of
Reno 911! and
The State talking about their upcoming ping-pong movie,
Balls of Fury. In the midst of a Q and A, a man approaches the mic and begins to chastise the two actors for daring to mock the game of ping-pong. I'm not positive, because it's difficult to get a clear look at the man's face, but I believe it's comedian Chris Tallman, perhaps most recognizable as the host of Comedy Central's short-lived series
Crossballs. But then, I could be wrong. Anyway, check out the video and see how real men handle hecklers:

Thomas Lennon and Ben Garrant from Reno 911! attended Comic-Con to promote their upcoming film, Balls of Fury (Christopher Walken and ping-pong? Hell yeah). There, they announced that The State, the MTV sketch program that showcased the talents of Lennon, Garrant, and folks like Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter, will be arriving on iTunes or DVD sometime this year. The only issue that kept the program from hitting DVD in the first place was, of course, the music clearances. MTV has put up money to re-score it. Sigh. I have a feeling fans are going to be complaining.
