Like most fans of
Lost, I was terribly disappointed when the smoke monster apparently killed Mr. Eko in season three. Eko was a great character who helped the equally great John Locke discover the possibilities of a life led by faith.
Lost is still an amazing show, but I've really missed Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's presence.
Adewale, who will guest star in the Aug 7 episode of
Monk and appears in the potential blockbuster
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, now says he
wants to go back to the island. The actor says he left the show after his parents passed away in 2006, but he'd like to return to give Eko some real closure.

Season Three of
Lost had some of the best episodes in the show's history, but no season is perfect. From bad flashbacks to bizarre death fake-outs, this season had its shortcomings. No one can nitpick like a
Lost fan, so let's get started! Feel free to share your Season Three criticisms as well.
So Long, Eko: After Season Two ended, I thought that the writers would take a break from the Tailie-killing. Eko was one of my favorite new characters, and I had hoped that he would stick around a bit longer. What really bugged me about Eko's death was that fact that he survived the hatch implosion only to get killed by the Monster five episodes into Season Three. I know that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje wanted out of the show, but his death seemed so random.

I don't want to ruin it for you guys who haven't had a chance to see last night's episode of
Lost. After all, it hasn't even been 24 hours since the show aired.
Let's just say that someone dies and there are conflicting reports all over the internet today about why that certain someone was written off the show.
Warning: *SPOILERS* from last night's episode are after the jump.

Earlier this month, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays Mr. Ecko on
Lost, was arrested in Hawaii on charges of disobeying a police officer and driving without a license. Yesterday, in Waikiki district court, the actor's lawyer was able to
get the charges dropped after proving to the court that the actor does indeed have a driver's license. Adewale spent six hours in jail and paid five hundred dollars when he was arrested, so it's not like he got off scot-free.
What I want to know is if he even showed up in court. I've been to traffic court before (don't ask... I blame overzealous suburban cops... anyway, it was ten years ago), and you basically have to stand in line with every speeder, stop-sign runner, and drunk driver that's been caught over the previous week. If he was there, I wonder if anyone recognized him; he's hard to miss, considering he's a pretty big guy.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays Mr. Eko on ABC's
Lost, was arrested early Saturday morning in Waikiki, Oahu. Police charged him with disobeying a police officer and driving without a license. He spent six hours in jail before posting $500 bail.
This is the third new cast member to be arrested for traffic violations. Adewale's infractions don't seem as serious as last year's
drunken driving arrests of Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros. The two actresses played 'Ana Lucia' and 'Libby' up until the season finale when the writers killed the pair off.
I guess Bernard is next. I'm thinking he'll be busted for indecent exposure. Or hit and run, since there seems to be a traffic theme.
