Rosie says no to Trump's money

Trump Rosie ApprenticeReality TV World reports that recently former View frontwoman Rosie O'Donnell was offered a spot in the upcoming season of The Apprentice. Apparently, Rosie was approached by Mark Burnett's production company and offered $2 million to appear in the seventh season.

Not surprisingly, Rosie rejected the generous offer -- and probably told them to store it in a very special place. I am not totally sure but it may have something to do with this Donald-Rosie feud that plagued entertainment news for a good three months.

Lady or a Tramp in development

donald trumpDo you know what we don't have enough of on reality television programs? Slutty chicks who like to party.

Sarcasm aside, Donald Trump is developing a new reality series for a possible midseason slot on the FOX schedule called Lady or a Tramp. The series, unfortunately, is not a series of cage matches between women and hobos, but is instead a competition in which girls who love the party life are sent to charm school to learn to behave like proper women.

If this idea sounds familiar, that might be because you're British already saw the series this one is based on, Ladette to Lady.

How celebrities keep it "real"

There has been a lot of talk lately about the legitimacy of certain body parts amongst celebrities. Tyra Banks, for example, has spent a lot of time informing men and women alike that her breasts are, in fact, real. Recently, she even extended her breast authentication abilities to her guest Katherine McPhee. Once the exam was over, it was determined that Katherine, like Tyra, has not had breast augmentation surgery.

Well, aside from being highly aroused, I was incredibly relieved. It's nice to see that in this day and age some people still know that real beauty comes from within.

But it got me thinking, what about other celebrities and their body parts? If these women can verify their actual anatomy shouldn't everyone on TV prove that they are real as well?

Trump cartoon inches closer

donald trumpI was really hoping this would die before it went too far, but apparently I prayed to the wrong god. Last October I mentioned that Donald Trump and his people were planning a Trump cartoon, and now it looks as if they've found a production company to animate the series. Animation Dimensions will work on the new series, which is still untitled, will be shopped around to various networks after it's approved by Trump and Premiere Enterprises.

So, a cartoon about a man who's already overexposed, created through the consent of businessmen and women who don't know the first thing about animation. That's pretty much modern televised animation in a nutshell, save for a few exceptions. If this series ever gets picked up, I predict a quick end for it. If it does take off, I'm taking it upon myself to hunt down all prints of the series and destroy them myself.

Donald Trump is getting animated

trumpIs there anything Donald Trump can't do? The answer to that question is, yes, there's a lot of things Trump can't do, and I'm guessing one of them is create an entertaining animated program. Nonetheless, that's exactly what's happening. There's no word on what exactly the series will be, but it will feature The Donald and some of his executives. Maybe they'll take over a leprechaun town and buy up all the real estate, or maybe they'll play androids who place their names on various products and sometimes transform into gigantic penguins for some reason. Michael Jacobson of Trump Magazine says several animation houses are interested in the project, and the plan is to create a couple shorts and a pilot for Trump's approval. The series is suspected to begin production in 2007. I have this strange feeling I might have to miss this one, or try to sell my old teleplay for a kid's cartoon called Nelson Rockefeller Babies.
