Ah, they're promising some changes tonight on the
Big Brother 9 live eviction show. Have you seen the latest promos? It's really not a spoiler as CBS has continuously been airing the commercials since last night's show -- a couple will get evicted, but may not be allowed to leave? Well, anything which shakes up this season to turn it into a more cerebral game would be welcome to me!
We have an inking of changes to come, but what about the houseguests? They have to be doing the math and know that a couple can't get evicted each week or it will be a short season, right? For show spoilers and the latest from inside the house, read on past the jump.

They enjoy primping in the
Big Brother 9 house, don't they? Alas, they can only primp their exteriors. If this group of hamsters could primp their language (so the aired shows wouldn't have so many bleeped out bits), their behaviors (so they're not ranting at each other for hours on end), their sexual activities (so I don't think I'm watching bad amateur porn and feel all creepy about it) ... could it still be good TV?
I think so. Language will always be an issue. But I think back to one of my favorite seasons, the second season. There was some cuddling, but not like outright porn. Ah, but this year they gave 'em a bowl of condoms. It's a beautiful day in the
Big Brother house, a beautiful day for
Big Brother. Wouldn't you? Couldn't you? Wouldn't you like to be a hamster?
No! Don't do it! They talk about the psychological tests the hamster wannabes must go through and I think they might just take the ones who fail the test! But, when you think about it, what person in their right mind would go into this sort of situation?
I definitely wouldn't, although mocking them sure can be fun! For show spoilers from the 24/7 live feed cameras, read on past the jump.

(S09E09) Will the soulmates inside the
Big Brother 9 house find true love? In watching this group, the only couple with any real possibility of even speaking to each other after the season ends would be James and Chelsia. Leading into tonight's show the commercials first focused on romantic possibilities between Ryan and Allison. Over the past few days, the commercials switched to a Joshuah and Allison blow-up.

Although this season of
Big Brother 9 isn't quite the norm (as much as a norm this show can have), there are some constants when compared to past seasons. The editing, what production wants the viewers to perceive, is more obviously distorted when the viewer can watch live feeds. This sort of editing happens for every reality show out there, but it's only
Big Brother where we can see what's really happening.

The scheduling for
Big Brother 9 is very odd this year. The houseguests have frantic periods of activity, then sit and stew for days awaiting the live eviction show and head of house competition. I blame the Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday schedule for a lot of the drama during the doldrums.
Here's the actual time line -- eviction and HOH on Wednesday evening, nominations and food competition on Thursday. power of veto competition on Friday. Then, with the exception of the power of veto meeting ... there's nothing to do until Wednesday rolls around again!

Last night we lost Alex and Amanda. But how have the dynamics inside the
Big Brother 9 house changed since the live show? From what Julie Chen said at the end of the show, we can expect the unexpected next week. Right now we have more of an inkling of upcoming changes than do the hamsters.
So ... who's screaming at whom today? Have alliances shifted once again? How are Joshuah and Sharon handling their Head of House reign thus far?

Sometimes it's a challenge to write up a live feeds report with the happenings from inside the
Big Brother 9 house of hamsters without spilling some spoiler beans on the main page before the jump. I often find myself rambling on right here on the main page. No. Really, I do. I ramble meaninglessly in the effort to fill in the white space.
You know, sometimes the houseguests do that, too. I swear often they talk and say things just to fill the time. Sometimes what they tend to say isn't quite as innocuous as my ramblings. Sometimes their words bite 'em back.

Even though some big fancy party is going on in Hollywood tonight, life goes on in the
Big Brother 9 house. There might be no red carpet with stunning gowns worn by starlets, but there are bikinis! Still intent on playing the sex card, today was the Bikini Day for the women.
Nah, I don't consider that a spoiler because anyone watching the show this past Thursday knew that one day the women would all have to wear them. My personal question is what day will all the men have to wear Speedos?
Well, now that I think about it...I'm not sure I want to see Adam or Ryan in a Speedo.

It was a dark and stormy night in the
Big Brother 9 house. All of a sudden the maid screamed! A shot rang out! Er, maybe that was vice versa.
Or, maybe that's not what happened at all.

As I watch the hamsters in the
Big Brother 9 house, I can't help but wonder when one will sudden jolt upright and yell, "Where am I? And why am I in this handbasket?"
But then I have to stop and think about this particular group of houseguests. Maybe it's the young age, maybe it's the sort of person who actually wants to be on a show like this. I don't know. I do know that if I were in the house, I'd get out of that handbasket any way I could.
We're still two days away from the next show, but a lot has been going on in the house. Nominations? Done. New brouhahas? Of course. Power of Veto? Won. There are no spoilers in the image gallery below, but there will be show spoilers beyond the jump!

After last night, the hamsters of the
Big Brother 9 house have a new Head of House couple. How is the new royalty faring with the peasants?

(S09E05) Have you been watching any of the commercials for
Big Brother 9 lately? My goodness, they're all about sex and the hotness of the hamsters. Now, I know that sex tends to be a big draw, but tonight's episode (unlike last night's episode) really didn't have much sex to it all. Oh, lots of controversy, but little sex. I'm not saying it's not happening in the house -- just not happening tonight on the show.

It's President's Day in the
Big Brother 9 house. I'm sure our favorite houseguests plan to set aside some time today to discuss their favorite presidents and how they've changed the course of history for the nation. Perhaps they'll talk about their favorite presidential quotes.
I guess it's possible they might be a tad less scholarly and they'll just sit around around talking about their favorite movies which featured fictional presidents.
