According to internet rumors, Dominic Bowden, a reality TV host from New Zealand, is in secret negotiations with a "major US reality TV show" that "will be as big as American Idol." The Next Great American Band will have its series premiere Friday, October 19, 2007 on FOX. There has not been an official announcement regarding American Band hosting duties as of yet.
