How long will baseball fans have to wait to watch the end of game five of the World Series between the Phillies and the Rays? Well, it'll be at least another day. Major League Baseball commissioner
Bud Selig has canceled tonight's resumption of the suspended game five.
Oh, and you know that Barack Obama ad that is going to be shown from 8-8:30 on NBC and CBS (
but not ABC)? It's also going to be on Fox, too. The World Series game will be pushed back to accommodate the Democratic Presidential candidate.
Don't flip out and cry foul! The TV gods anticipated that there might be a conflict when they sold the time slot to the Obama campaign. In fact, they had the opportunity to turn them down. But Fox was inclined to take the ad revenue.

When the Super Bowl first began, halftime shows consisted of marching bands and the occasional big name performer for a song or two. Carol Channing actually did two halftimes -- 1970 and 1972! Well, times have changed and so have the expectations.
The 2009 Super Bowl in Tampa reportedly has landed
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band to anchor the Super Bowl halftime show. It'll be The Boss's first time performing for the NFL's biggest show.
One thing we can count on with Springsteen, there'll be no wardrobe malfunctions. Even if Little Steven whips off his bandana, the censors won't care. Ever since Justin Timberlake ripped the top off Janet Jackson and got a chunk of bra to go with it, revealing her breast to the ogling TV audience, the networks have been careful to keep the halftime shows purely musical.

$25 million may seem like a lot of money to pay for the home of a former wrestler. Until you hear a little bit more about it. According to the St. Petersburg Times:
"The roof tiles are imported from France. The floors are center-cut oak that's hand-carved in a basketweave pattern. The windows are handmade leaded glass. The kitchen has custom copper sinks, hand-carved limestone and steel countertops, and a fireplace, one of seven in the 17,000-square-foot house."That's mighty extravagant, Hulk. The grounds are 2.3 acres overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. Hulk and the fam damily moved to Miami Beach last month. The home is actually appraised at $6.4 million (with $126,000 in property taxes last year!), but Hulk's real estate agent evidently thinks his celebrity is big enough to push that price up nearly $20 million.

Jessica Sierra is being stalked by a 59-year-old man who says he fell in love with her when he saw her on
American
Idol last season. While she was on the show, he sent her jewelry and flowers. Tampa, Florida police say Paul Young
left Sierra more than 40 voicemails in the last few months, telling her he loved her and he would go to jail for her.
What an odd thing to say. When he showed up at the home of her grandmother recently, he was arrested. Young is
currently in a Tampa jail, being held without bail.
