(
S10E22) "We don't even get a week to campaign do we?" -- Ollie to Jerry
"Yeah well, life is short." -- Jerry to Ollie
Once again,
Big Brother began its show with an insanely long recap of the previous show. I think this one was almost fifteen minutes. We went over how Michelle was evicted, how Keesha won HOH, how she put up Ollie and Jerry, blah, blah, blah. Too long.
We did get a few nuggets of information to add to our mental portraits of this summer's houseguests. We got the exchange above which happened as Jerry and Ollie sat in the living room awaiting the results of
Big Brother 10 "Fast Forward." But all that really shows is Ollie's bitterness and Jerry's nonsensical reply.
All was not lost though, I liked seeing how the alliance of four scrambled to pick an evictee after Dan won the Veto. Dan grabbed Keesha and whispered, "Who do you want to go home?" Keesha replied Ollie and Dan made sure that Memphis and Renny knew how to vote. I guess it was an obvious choice for them though.

(
S10E19) Let's start with the April aftermath...
With April gone, Ollie feels it's do or die now in the
Big Brother 10 house. He's played the game "sub-par" up until now. Renny feels great about her successful HOH reign. Her target left. Mission accomplished. Keesha is worried about how Ollie will react. And Dan, the swing vote, had some parting words for April who tried to buy him off: "Guess what, April? I'm not here for $5,000. I'm here for $500,000." So, Dan is there to win.
One thing we found out for sure tonight: Dan may or may not win
Big Brother, but he is certainly there to play. A recap of last night's
Big Brother is after the jump ...

(
S10E18) "Anything else I could do for you, I would do for you." -April to Dan
Once again,
Dan the Man with the Master Plan is the swing vote at eviction time. Renny nominated April and Jerry on Sunday, her target being April from Arizona. However, Dan has no personal reason to evict her. In fact, if Dan was playing the game strictly listening to his personal feelings, he should evict Jerry who called him a "Judas" last week and said that he "hides behind his cross." Furthermore, April offered Dan, the PoV holder, money on Tuesday before the ceremony.
Okay, what am I missing? Oh yeah, it's that April is a kick-butt player in the
Big Brother 10 house who will pick them off one-by-one with her showmance Ollie at her side.
Find out what went down and who went home after the jump...

(
S10E12) "Game on." -- Michelle
And it was game on tonight. The one thing I love about
Big Brother is that just when things are settled, they get turned upside down again. Maybe it's the hamsters backdooring someone who thought himself/herself safe. Maybe it's the underdog winning a big competition. Or maybe it's a once strong alliance getting destroyed. The game is never gradual. It's always extreme. And it's on three nights a week.
Let's get to what happened last night...

(
S10E10) When we left the houseguests on Wednesday night, Angie had just been evicted and they were still battling it out for the next HOH. Michelle was sad to see Angie go but had no choice in her vote considering Jessie was on the block. Jessie is nervous for the competition because he didn't "kiss anyone's tail" last week. Memphis said more of the same and was ready for a fight. The three of them know that they are in trouble of Keesha's alliance gets HOH.
Let's find out what happened after the jump...

(
S10E06) So we went into last night's episode of
Big Brother 10 with Keesha, the Hooters waitress from L.A., as head of household. The plan for the alliance of eight (which started the first week and included Ollie, Libra, April, Keesha, Jessie, Memphis, Michelle, and Angie) was to put up Brian's remaining alliance member, Dan, and one of the floaters -- in this case Jerry.
But will Keesha, who has been a bit of a loose canon from the start, listen to her alliance? And if she doesn't, how will the hamsters regroup? I think we heard at least three hamsters say, "the lines are going to be drawn in the sand" tonight. And indeed they were.

S10E04) Tonight, we learned a valuable lesson in hamster survival. Going to see the HOH's bedroom is the best play a hamster can make in this game. Find out who got nominated under Jessie's rule and who's on slop for the week after the jump.

Another report about what's going on in the
Big Brother 10 house...
Jackie already told you that the nominations have been made, the food competition has been played, the POV has been played. At this point however, the POV ceremony has not been held yet. Anything can happen. Everyone has something to gain or lose. So tensions are high and everyone is scheming.
There's
spoilers after the jump. Read at your own risk.

(
S09E31) Adam is safe and Natalie is on the block. She's been playing everyone against each other and now she's paying for it. Of course, in typical Natalie style, she's acting like a psycho, calling people out, and quoting Bible verse. Bottom line: This week the boys are in power. If Ryan and Adam wanted to be really devious, they should just split the vote and make Sheila decide.
Find out if Natalie is safe and what the boys decided to do after the jump.

(S09E28) So Ryan has won the power of veto and rectified Adam's stupid nominations. That means, this girl to the right and Team Christ (ridiculous name) is still in power. Now, I don't like James. But I don't like Team Christ either. Does that make me a bad Christian? What would that zealot Natalie say? I'm just so sick of TC thinking that they are the "chosen" houseguests and when things go their way, it's the work of God.
Okay, on to the review. Find out tonight's drama, who got evicted, and what happened in the HOH competition after the jump...

(S09E21) You know
Big Brother 9 isn't the best of seasons when Evel Dick, winner of
BB8, comes across as a breath of fresh air! I do think that the season picked up a bit more steam when they dropped the couplings and the "'Til Death Do You Part" bit from the title. But the damage was already done. They started the season with some odd half-cocked porno theme, condoms in a bowl and all, then backed off when it started bombing. At least we're back to the game of
Big Brother.

(S09E18) In a rather surprising move, both to us and to himself, Adam won the Head of Household in last week's competition on
Big Brother 9. This season has definitely turned into a house divided and Adam leans to one side, yet gets along with just about everyone in the house. He's played it safe all along, but now he's in the position of power. It's unlikely that he'll don a robe and a "Princess for the Day" tiara, for sure.

(S09E17) I have to say something before I start talking about last night. The Bible buddies segments on this show have saved the winter
Big Brother in my opinion. Okay, maybe
Big Brother 9 is still the worst season fans have ever seen, but the Bible buddies segments that feature Mattie, A-Baller, and Ryan are still pretty darn funny.
My review of
Big Brother's fifth eviction ceremony and the sixth Head of Household competition is after the jump.

(S09E16) It's day 36 in the
Big Brother 9 house and all is copasetic between Matt and Natalie. Matt's gone so far as to say that he'd sacrifice himself later in the game if it came down to him or Natalie getting evicted from the house.
Personally, I find Mattie's character completely suspect. His eyes are about half-inch too far apart and he's just got that future-criminal-in-the-making shine about him. Yup, I'm willing to bet that if it came down to him and Natalie in the final two he'd hang her out to dry faster than a freshly washed fitted sheet before clothes dryers became a staple in American households.
