One of the major topics of discussion regarding the
Lost season finale is the last shot of an eye opening suddenly in the quick teaser for the final season. A lot of people think it's Juliet's eye, but
some fans have done an analysis and say it's actually ... Jack's!
You can see the teaser again at the link above.

As the creeptastic Ben Linus on
Lost,
Michael Emerson has been the puppet master on the island. He spends his days murdering people, causing others to murder different people, playing mind games and just generally making life more difficult for the survivors of Oceanic flight 815 and everyone else whom he encounters.
Ever since he was going by the name, "Henry Gale," Ben has been a fan favorite on the series. Recently, I was able to grab a few minutes of his time to chat about this week's season finale of
Lost and the evolution of Benjamin Linus. He even gives me some parenting advice!
The interview follows after the jump, and as we do discuss this week's finale, I should probably give you a
spoiler warning right now. However, since it's
Lost, he's not able to give too much away. FACT: The smoke monster is real, and is deployed against any actor who dares to speak too freely about the show-- so I got what I could.

Remember a couple of weeks when we told you that
Lost producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse and ABC were holding a
contest for fans of the show to give the season finale a quirky name? Every season finale of the show has gone by a code name: season one had "The Bagel" and last season was "The Rattlesnake in the Mailbox." What will this season's finale be called?
The winner has been revealed and it's ... "The Fork in the Outlet." Who knows if this will be literal (after all, what the heck does "The Bagel" have to do with the season one finale?), but I think we're in for something "shocking." I've never put a utensil in an electrical outlet before, but I did touch a light switch with wet hands once and got a jolt. Never again.
I kinda like some of the entries that didn't win, especially "The Droids You're Looking For," and "The Fifth Toe." Maybe they should have named it "Scotty, Beam Me Up," to tie in with J.J. Abrams' new
Star Trek flick, also in May.

You have to give Harold Perrineau points for being brutally honest.
The Lost star, who (spoiler!) blew up last night in the season finale of the show, can't believe that he came back to the show only to be killed off. In fact, his exact words about the decision to kill off Michael are "...what the hell? I came back for that?!"
Perrineau didn't know he was getting killed off until he got a phone call from the producers right before he received the script for the season finale. He's also unhappy that they didn't give Michael and Walt a happy ending. But perhaps the most interesting part of the interview with TV Guide's (but not for long) Michael Ausiello is where Perrineau says the show doesn't know how to treat black characters...

(S04E13) After having my mind blown several times during the finale, I'm wondering if we'll ever see another "normal" episode of
Lost again. For better or for worse, the game has changed. Most of the 815ers have new agendas now, and some of our favorite survivors' fates are up in the air. Season five of
Lost will look very different from seasons past, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

This year's Lost season finale had a huge death count, with victims ranging from nameless Others to major characters. Some characters were shot, some were stabbed, and some were killed by explosives. Many of the finale deaths didn't count towards any death pool scores, but three of them did. We also have a winner in the pool!
All three of the deaths in question occurred during Part Two of "Through the Looking Glass," and each death is worth a total of six points. One death received the five bonus points for being out of the ordinary. Specifics on the deaths and the final standings are available after the jump. Thanks to all of you who participated in the first TV Squad Lost Death Pool! It was an exciting season, to say the least.

Ever since the Lost season finale aired, fans have been speculating about the newspaper clipping that Jack was reading in his flash-forward. The article, an obituary for a mysterious person, caused Jack a great deal of distress. Was the deceased an Other, an 815 survivor, or someone we haven't met?
Text of the newspaper clipping has turned up on some of the major Lost websites, including The Fuselage and Lostpedia. There's no word on whether the text is official, but it does fit with the excerpts of the article that were visible in the episode. The text is available after the jump.

ABC has posted the last
Lost audio podcast for Season Three. As usual, hosts Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse rehashed
"Greatest Hits," provided teasers for the show's season finale, and answered fan questions. Among the highlights:
- The finale will answer viewers' questions about the mysterious woman Charlie encountered in "Greatest Hits." We will also learn if Juliet was lying when she said that there had been a flood in the Looking Glass station.
- The Looking Glass station was included in Kelvin's blast door map, but not by name.
- Many fans have wondered why Desmond and Charlie didn't simply cut the cable that led to the Looking Glass station. It is possible that the cable is not the station's only source of power, and it may not even function as a power source.
