ABC recently posted another Lost audio podcast for this week's episode, "The Constant." Executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse reviewed the newest Lost episode as well as last week's "Eggtown," answered fan questions, and previewed "The Other Woman." Since they skipped a podcast last week, Lindelof and Cuse revealed much more information and dealt with more questions than an average podcast. Here's a recap:
-
Due to the writers' strike,
Lost's sixteen-episode season was
cut to thirteen episodes. The storylines for the eight episodes intended for the second half of the season will be "compressed" into five episodes. The remaining three episodes will be added to the final two seasons of the show.

The video podcast for "Confirmed Dead" is up on ABC's Lost page. This week, costume designer Roland Sanchez discussed the costume choices for some of the new characters that appeared in Thursday's episode. This was another short behind the scenes video, but hopefully the rumored end to the strike will bring Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse back for some meatier podcasts. Here's a recap:
- The show's wardrobe department keeps at least a dozen versions of Jack's classic blue T-shirt. Sanchez chose that shade of blue because he didn't think that Jack would wear a "happy" color.

ABC has posted the last
Lost audio podcast for Season Three. As usual, hosts Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse rehashed
"Greatest Hits," provided teasers for the show's season finale, and answered fan questions. Among the highlights:
- The finale will answer viewers' questions about the mysterious woman Charlie encountered in "Greatest Hits." We will also learn if Juliet was lying when she said that there had been a flood in the Looking Glass station.
- The Looking Glass station was included in Kelvin's blast door map, but not by name.
- Many fans have wondered why Desmond and Charlie didn't simply cut the cable that led to the Looking Glass station. It is possible that the cable is not the station's only source of power, and it may not even function as a power source.

Since it's close to the season finale, hosts Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse only gave fans indications of what to expect in the next three weeks. They did manage to review "The Brig," preview "The Man Behind The Curtain," and answer fan questions, however. Here's a quick recap:
- The writers knew for several seasons that Anthony Cooper was the original Sawyer. They actually thought it had become fairly obvious.
- Lindelof and Cuse were tight-lipped about "The Man Behind The Curtain," but mentioned that we will learn much more about Ben and Jacob. Richard Alpert will also be seen next week.

This week's Lost audio podcast was one of the best ever, mostly due to M.C. Gainey's short interview.
