I had waited until "Greatest Hits" aired to post another death pool update because I thought we would learn what had happened to Locke. I could not have been more wrong. Ben mentioned Locke's "accident" briefly, but our favorite bald man failed to make an appearance. The highly anticipated Charlie death didn't even happen! Death pool participants don't have long to wait, however. Something tells me that this week's Others-815ers showdown will have some major casualties.Lost The Man Behind the Curtain-related stories

Lost audio podcast recap: May 11, 2007
This week's Lost audio podcast gave away very few details about the upcoming "Greatest Hits" episode, but hosts Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse did discuss last week's "The Man Behind the Curtain." Dominic Monaghan also touched on his character's potential demise in a short interview. Among the highlights:
-
Dominic Monaghan doesn't mind if his character is killed off.
-
Monaghan doesn't want there to be a typical "Dominic Monaghan part," and makes an effort to play different types of characters.
-
He often gives fellow cast members music advice, and is currently listening to Imogen Heap, Keane, Kasabian, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Ray LaMontagne.
-
A fan recently gave Monaghan a CD of jungle sounds of Borneo.

Lost: The Man Behind the Curtain
(S03E20) Ben celebrates his birthday in odd ways, doesn't he? We finally got a glimpse of Ben's personal history with the island and with his father. Yet another Lost character with Daddy issues! I think I would have issues, too, if my Dad was Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite. The Beach
I'm going to get this story line out of the way first since the real action this week was in the jungle. Thanks to Sawyer, the rest of the 815ers were alerted to Naomi's presence and to Juliet's plans. We also got to hear Ben's response to Juliet's latest report. When Juliet told Sawyer to play the rest of the tape, I was expecting its contents to make her appear more sympathetic, not less. I suppose honesty was her only option at that point.

Lost death pool update: Week thirteen
"The Brig" featured one of the biggest deaths of Season Three. The only problem? No one picked this person in the death pool! It's not that surprising, given the fact that "TS" was strictly a flashback character when the pool started. Those hoping to catch up to the current leaders still have some hope. Rumor has it that death will strike again before the season is over.
In the meantime, last week's point totals remain in place. Mikhail will appear in this week's episode, "The Man Behind The Curtain," so we might get a few answers about his presence among the living. If you haven't already, check out this post about MSNBC's Lost death odds. Some of your picks got the thumbs up (Charlie, Desmond), while others were listed as long shots (Kate, Ben). The MSNBC article was right about last week's death, so it may be worth reading.
Good luck this week for "The Man Behind The Curtain"!
