Barry Livingston, who played Ernie Douglas on the 60's/70's sitcom My Three Sons (TV's second longest-running live-action show after The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet) will be appearing on the Hallmark Channel this coming Saturday at 8 p.m. in an action movie called Final Approach. He joins a cast that includes Dean Cain, Lea Thompson, Richard Roundtree, Ernie Hudson and Anthony Michael Hall.

Livingston has appeared in other TV shows including Mad Men, Eli Stone and Crossing Jordan. The 54-year-old former child star will play an aeronautical engineer on a plane who helps Dean Cain's character foil an attempted hijack.

So what did you do yesterday? I spent the entire Sunday watching detective movies on The Hallmark Channel. Of course, when I say "detective movies" it sounds like I was watching old film noir flicks from the 40s and 50s. Actually, I was watching Murder, She Wrote, Perry Mason movies, and Matlock.

Yes, I have the social life of a 70 year-old woman.

I've always been a sucker for these shows, going back to the NBC Mystery Movie and Columbo and McMillan and Wife. Those shows were probably better produced and written than the stuff you see on Hallmark Channel, but I think the new shows are quite entertaining and fun, and it's good to see favorite familiar faces on TV again: the McBride movies with John Larroquette, the Murder 101 movies with Dick Van Dyke, and the TV movie series I'd like to talk about, Jane Doe.

To put it simply, I'm worried about Jane Doe.

(S01E02) Welcome to the second review of Celebrity Duets, now on at its regular time. Thanks for sticking with me, despite the poor decision I made last week when I thought Lucy Lawless should have been the celebrity to be let go from the competition. From the comments I read you thought that she did much better than I did. Well, you won't have to worry about that now, because I will only be covering the talent portion of the show. The judging will either be covered by another one of our talented TV Squad writers (beautiful people one and all), or not at all.
