(
S09E06) "Cups are a very essential part of life, ya know. We use 'em for drinkin' and what not."
--Matt on Big Brother taking away all the drinking cups in the house after last week's HOH competitionDo you see how much vital information you can learn from CBS's
Big Brother 9? Did you know about the power of the drinking cup before this? I didn't. The cup and his brethren, the glass, have taken on a whole new meaning for me. Matt, you have officially rocked my world. Matt also told us to never trust anyone with pink hair. Wonder who he's referring to?
More of Matt's nuggets and a recap of last night's
Big Brother 9 is after the jump.

...Six Creepy Killers.
Murderers, psychopaths, homicidal nut-jobs, and guys that like to eat fingers. Killers, they come in all shapes and sizes, all forms, and they're all over TV. We love to hate them and in some cases we hate that we love them. But you can't avoid them because more often than not, they lead to some great storylines on many of our favorite shows. Here's a look at some of the big ones from 2006.
1.) Sylar [Heroes] - Mild-mannered watch maker turned super-powered brain craver, Sylar has been removing the pink organs from folks on Chandra Suresh's list on Heroes all season long. He looks calm in that picture, but that was before he grew in the scrappy beard and donned a trench-coat. His ability to absorb the powers of those he kills is creepy enough, but actually seeing him get angry is definitely unnerving. Just look at what he did to Eden in the show's mid-season finale. I wouldn't recommend standing in front of a plate-glass window if this guy is on the other side of it.

(S10E13) Three teams, one last race. The teams are sent breathlessly hurtling around the globe, starting with Paris. For some reason this is the most boring finale I have seen in a long time. Truly. There are no big challenges, no real jaw-dropping moments and at the end, no real emotional payout. One of the reasons I watch the Race is for the cry-inducing finale. I'm going to have to watch the second half of that ABC home improvement show in order to get my supply of Sunday weeping.

(S02E10) Last week's episode, "Slap Bet," was a tough one to follow; even an extraordinarily funny episode would have paled in comparison. So to say this week's episode was a disappointment would be an overstatement. But it really wasn't as sharp as some of the others this season have been.
I'm not sure what it is, but I'm really starting to think that introducing guest stars disrupts the chemistry of the show too much. The last time there was a lame-ish episode, Jane Seymour and Bryan Cranston were guesting; this time around, it's Wayne Brady, who played Barney's brother James. You'd think a guy who uttered the line "Does Wayne Brady have to choke a bitch?" would be able to do well playing a black, gay version of Barney. But he was just... meh. Let's just say he could have been a lot better.

So, Thursday's
Big Brother 6 wasn't shown until 2:05am here in New York, and I forgot to set my ReplayTV to grab it. I missed the whole thing, although I am looking to grab a copy via bittorrent.
In the meantime, since I haven't seen it and therefore cannot write up my normal review and recap, I'm turning to our loyal TV Squad readers: What did I miss? What happened? Please tell me in the comments.
My guess: James was evicted. Janelle won HoH. Am I right? No matter how it played out, I'm just glad that April is no longer at the helm.
